I'm thinking about rereading The False Prince because I just got the last two books in the triology not too long ago. Last I read the first book was three or four years ago.

Obviously! Because the book changes as one changes, so you enjoy it in different ways.
Also, I have read books when I was younger even though I could not understand them competely.

Yes! That's true! I download most of my books, but there are so many I want to buy printed to re-read!

I'm gonna start rereading the Hobbit today.
I'm also a chronic re-reader, but I find that the majority of the books I re-read are the same ones (i.e., I read a book every few years) and they fall into 2 categories: (1) books that I first read during my teen years:- To Kill a Mockingbird
- A Tree Grows in Brooklyn
- Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man
- Franny and Zooey
or (2) just so ridiculously good/well-written/engaging that you can't not experience it again, and they continue to unfold with each reading:
- Anna Karenina
- Lolita
- The House of Mirth
- The "Gilead" series
Well...last year, I re-read Harry Potter and The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I didn't realize I actually did read Percy Jackson until I gotten to the third book. Don't worry, I like them both, although my feelings for HP have waned... just a little. Now, this year however, I intend to blaze new roads, so to speak by having this year devoted to new experiences! In general, I re-read to see if I still have the same feelings for it as I once did or if I forget entirely what happens.
I feel so bad scrolling down and seeing you guys say that you reread books because I DON"T. I get (and respect) that if you love a book a lot, you'd want to get back to it, but I don't wanna reread an entire journey I went through. Idk, it's just me. I just can't.
I love rereading books! It brings back memories from the first time I read them years ago, both in my life, and in how I felt about the stories then. I'm a chronic re-reader haha.
I have a book that is pretty old I would reread over and over again. It was called, You can never tell. It was about a young soap opera star going to high school in real life and trying to be a normal teenager. It was a great book but I don't remember who wrote it!
I've read so many times pride and prejudice! I know it's a little cliche this one, but I can't help it. Each year I read it at least once, I don't know why, but it just makes things right! And I'm glad to see that I'm not the only book lover/maniac who loves to reread multiple times the same book, haha!

exactly.
exactly.
Danielle wrote: "Would anyone reread books they have already rI usually don't because I have so many other books to read, but I would and have. But usually I have to have read them a long time ago so I don't remember them really well or I can't really stay interested because I know what happens.
I love re reading books it helps understand the book better and find new things that i didn't get the first time I read that is why I love re reading books.
Only if it’s one of my favorite books. I rarely reread books, but if I wait a few years and forget about a lot of the details so it’s fun to reread and remember why I liked a book so much, or change my mind about liking it.
I have before. I re-read the entire Wings of Fire series, and I don't regret ONE SECOND. It helped me understand a lot more about what had happened in the last book, cause I had to wait for a year in between books.
I don't re-read super often, but I do time to time. I watch movies I like NON STOP, so reading a book a few times might happen if I like it enough. I actually just read Ready Player One twice in less than a month since I'm in love with it! The movie already looks to ruin a LOT about it, but I'm excited! haha
I love to re-read books when I have time. Once I started university I don’t have the time. When I was younger I would re-read books maybe once a year, and whenever a new book in the series came out. I love finding things I didn’t find the first time reading.
Books I love to re read:
Harry Potter
The Hunger Games
A Song of Ice and Fire
The Kingkiller Chronicles
I always read books more than once! You find so many new things in a good book if you read it more than once. I especially love to reread books I haven't read in a few years, it's like re-connecting with a friend you haven't seen in a long time. I love to immerse myself into the lives of characters I connected to and will willing do it multiple times.
Yes I re- read books all the time. I find that I rush thru the book the first time thru because I want to know what happens. I can then re- read the book to actually digest what was happening in the book.
Totally, I re-read all the time! But honestly it has to be something special for me to visit the world again. Thankfully, I have found a lot of special books.
I also reread books and I think that's good thing to do sometimes because we are changing and growing in life so the same book in the different periods can be also different. :)I read Women Who Run With the Wolves 2 times and first time I didn't understand it and I didn't like it much. After few years I read it again and I really like it and I found it very powerful.
I usually don't re-read books unless they are really good. I have only re-read one book called Dangerous by Shanon Hale.

I have reread "The little girl who lived down the lane" a couple of times. Also "After dark" of Murakami. And "The portrait of Dorian Gray".
I hope soon enough to reread "Little Women" when I can buy the full edition. I read it a couple of years ago, but only until the Christmas part because it was an old edition.
I reread some books but, it depends on which books they are and how long it has been since I first read them.
Would definitely reread books! If I really enjoyed them and it’s been awhile since I read it and I’ve forgotten the details and endings, I would totally reread.

Each year I read it at least once, I was scrolling through comments and saw this. One of my favorite mystery series features a female amateur sleuth who loves Jane Austen, quotes her a lot and the first book says she read Pride and Prejudice over 300 times!
I'm not that dedicated, but the books I tend to reread are the classics - Jane Austen, Dickens, Conan Doyle, I was on a Sinclair Lewis kick for a while.
I dont typically reread books. I know as a kid I read the Voyage of the Dawn Treader roughly 7 times..but that's the only one I can think of. However I am looking at rereading a few titles since I've gotten back into reading.
I love re-reading! I’ve always manage to find new details to be excited about and to fall in love with. Besides, it’s interesting to look at a book with brand new eyes. Your perspective isn’t the same when you’re 16 or when you are at your 30sReading a book that you haven’t liked again gives you the chance to change your mind. If you really love a book you will find even more reasons to love it or even hate it, which is pretty interesting too. I think I’ve read Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice and The Mortal Instruments 10 times AT LEAST
I’ve done it so many times. I do it with all of my favorites. often When ever I don’t know what to read I will re start a series I love
