Lindsey (booradley123) | 18 comments I'm looking for a teen horror book from the late 80's to the early - mid 90's. I'm not sure of the author or the collection, but the writing was similar to R.L. Stine, Christopher Pike, Richie Tankersley Cusick or Diane Hoh.

In the story, a high school girl goes on a vacation with her parents and maybe a younger sibling (brother?). They are en route to a remote cabin, and it's set during winter. Along the way they cross paths with 3(maybe 2?) brothers, which could be described as "backwoods". The brothers become obsessed with the high school daughter, and track her family to the cabin where they are staying. During the family's fight for their lives, the daughter comes to her family's rescue. She starts using items around the cabin to kill off the brothers (in self defense) and at one point she uses an aerosol can of some flammable liquid and a lighter to create a jet of fire that burns one brother very badly, if not to death. She ends up killing all the brothers, but once back home she imagines she sees the ringleader brother lurking in the shadows.

Paul Phillips | 8 comments It sounds like "Spring Break" by Nicholas Pine, from the "Terror Academy" series. Spring Break
