Has the new cover been published . . . ?It’s a Kindle edition and Amazon is still showing the existing cover.
I got a confirmation via email that it's been updated, but it looks like it hasn't come through yet on Amazon. Should happen in the next day or so.

I would like to make sure my three self-published books on Amazon are current and available on Goodreads.
I have recently added my newest book, The Why of Waterfalls, to Amazon. I also updated the cover on my other two books, Reflections on a Leaf Floating and By Riverside So Dear. Would you please help me add/update them?
I would like my books to be current.

Is that possible, please?..."Unfortunately, no. GR policy is too keep all published covers, and instead to create alternate cover editions when covers change. This allows readers to shelve an edition with a specific cover. Let us know if you wish to proceed in this way.

Is ..."Thank you. I tried doing adding a new edition, but I got a message saying that another book with the same Asin code was already available and I shouldn't create another version. If that's okay and it doesn't create trouble having two books with the same ASIN, I can add a new edition myself. Let me know.

You can post back here, providing all publication details, including a link to the new cover image. I notice, however, that Amazon is still showing the existing cover for the Kindle edition you referred to in your original post—when will the new cover be published?

The difference is primarily in the subtitle (but also in the title font size). If you switch between the two book pages these differences are immediately apparent. Even though the background image is basically the same, the changes mentioned above constitute a difference in cover and require creation of an ACE: what has been done—and done on that basis.
ETA: As for what is appearing on your author dashboard, you may want to refer to the Author FAQ; specifically, message 4.

Thank you. I understand what you mean, but I've noticed that the Amazon Kindle cover is still not the correct one. I know this is a little messy, I'm sorry. When I first published the book, the cover had a different subtitle, but Smashwords didn't accept it, so I had to change it. Since it was already up on Amazon, I left the one with the old subtitle, so there were two different covers.
Now I've updated everything (and also updated the font to match with my author logo and website) and I need both covers to be the same. The one you uploaded for the Kindle version is the old one I used for Smashwords. Can you update this https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... with the same cover as the Smashwords edition https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... please?
