Tiffany (tiffyb96) Does anyone have any recommendations for books about shinobi/ninjas? Im having trouble finding decent HF ones that are not fantasy based, a little fantasy is ok though. Thanks

C.P. Lesley (cplesley) | 673 comments Do you know about Across the Nightingale Floor and its sequels? It is fantasy, but more historical than fantasy.

There are also the novels of Laura Joh Rowland. Less ninja, more history, but not completely beyond the pale.

Phair (sphair) | 45 comments Claws of the Cat Claws of the Cat (Shinobi Mystery, #1) by Susan Spann is the start of an historical mystery series featuring a Shinobi charged with safeguarding a Portugese priest in 16thc Japan. I have really enjoyed all of the series. Great history & culture portrayed.
