I have had a really good run of books I've enjoyed lately, but this one stands out. Wonderful, wonderful characters, especially Elsa. Excellent on every level. Many laugh-out-loud bits, scenes that brought a tear or two, gentle wisdom, a helping of suspense, you name it.

I will be getting Fredrik Backman's other books "Britt Marie Was Here" and "A Man Called Ove" as soon as possible.

Two thirds through 'My Grandmother' which has a mythic quality and I've already stayed up too late the last couple of nights. :)
