D.M. Wiltshire (dmwiltshire) | 2 comments Hello Potential Beta Readers,

This is the first time I'm approaching a group of strangers to do some beta reading for my book series online so here's hoping for a good experience.

All right, right to the point. I am in the final editing stages of my book and I want to find a group of at least 5 readers to review what I have written to make sure it makes sense and if anything needs to be explaining.

Pretty straight forward, but here's the catch.

The book you will be beta reading is the second book in my book series Prophecy Six. It will highlight pieces from book one, building on relationships from book one, but all-in-all book 2 can stand alone as its own book if it wants to.

So, what is book two about. Here is the rough draft of the jacket to tell you:

Nightmares come alive as Liora and the new Six face their greatest fears and fight to get back to reality.

The long winter is fading to spring and the answers Liora had been hoping for are slowly coming to light. With the help of her mentor – Caldor Lefwid – she soon discovers that her powers are not just some random happen-stance. Instead, it appears she is part of a larger plan.

The Prophecy Six is true and Liora is not sure what to do.

As the Child of Light, Liora is the first of six children who are to be given powers from the Gods. Unsure how to find the others, Liora is confused as to why the Gods had chosen her for this important part in a prophecy that is to change Gaitan.

Still haunted by memories of her peoples murder, she begins seeing a strange white haired child wandering her dreams. What she sees isn’t like her usual visions. Certain there is nothing too concerning she ignores the dreams until they take a horrible turn.

Plagued by nightmares, tormented by this strange child, and forced into a mold she doesn’t fit – Liora decides to take things into her own hands in hopes of gaining some control.

I hope this interests you enough to contact me and hopefully we will be talking about you becoming a beta reader for me soon.

Thank you for your time and all the best.

Hi Kim,

I would love for you to beta read for me as I'm looking to make sure that my story makes sense to my readership. I have an editor that will handle the finer details of the editing process (punctuation, grammar, spelling errors). What I'm looking for in a beta reader is getting your impression of the story and where you think things need to be explained better or where pieces need to be strengthened.
If you are still interested in being a beta reader don't hesistate to email me at prophecy6@outlook.com and I will send you the PDF.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Deanna M. Wiltshire
