3000+ Views and no Click thrus? Advice?

Goodread ad has been running long enough to have generated 0ver 3000 views and not a single click thru? D. Keith

Hey D. All I can say is that it mirrors my campaigns. Sponsored books have mostly been complete wastes of time here for me. The only way I can get clicks is by upping my bid to ridiculous levels, blowing through money like crazy, and not getting any sales or "adds" anyway.

It is not so bad. For example in the Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) a typical percentage of clicks is less than 1% of the impressions or views - you can have easily 3000 impressions and a couple of clicks - but I think that many impressions are not real impressions since they are not really seen by the user, but just available/seen if they search thorugh the scrolling ads menu -but they count as impression since the ad is sent to the server...

This could be an issue with visibility to the user, The impressions are counted when users scroll through and its not necessary that they should click all of them which is why there is a difference.
