Our book of the month October is House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski! This is very exciting!! :))
Hey everyone! 2017 is right around the corner and I decided to do some little changes referring to this group. Firstly I'd only like to read a book every other month together. Unfortunately I didn't came around to finish our October and our November book of the month and I feel like this way it would be more relaxed and fun to read and discuss together. Especially because I'd like to review the books that we read here.
Secondly I'd like to launch a Instagram account especially for this book club because I use Instagram a lot and I thought it would be fun to feauture the members that are bookstagrammers. But don't expect too much though, because there won't be any monthly challenges or similar things, at least for now.(@cosmoreaders)
Finally, the book for January/Febuary will be Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi!
I hope you like our choice for the following two months and that you are fine with those little changes!

Hi! In March and April we will be reading A Separation by Katie Kitamura.
(If you didn't know already, only five members voted on the last poll, which isn't representative in my opinion. But I guess it's only fair to read this novel next, because everyone has a chance to be active and to disagree. This time I'm just a little bit concerned that the majority of this book club stays inactive. Which is fine, but unfortunate.)

Hello everyone! In May and June we will read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey. The book had the same amount of votes as Furiously Happy, so I changed my vote in favor of One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest.
I hope you are excited for our pick and read along in May/June. :)

Most people seem to enjoy this book, but I hated it. ;) I gave it one star and I don't understand why many people don't notice (or don't want to notice) any of the things I mentioned in my review.
I'm glad I've read it anyways because I questioned my taste in YA books that are similar, e.g. Obsidian etc.
