This short article from FLAMA shows some of the differences: . In the US interchanging these terms may be okay, since our biggest Hispanic/Latinx populations trace their families to Mexico, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Cuba, and other countries that cross these labels. I do notice that some, especially those who are new to the US, find being called "Spanish" is weird. Any thoughts?

Someone who says "they are speaking Mexican" probably wouldn't know how to spell "Guatemala" or "Honduras" xD
