Trisha | 31447 comments of course! I can switch it out - just let me know the different shelf!

message 36: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 32355 comments My partner is Chelsea and I have chosen the following books from which you can choose:

1. Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1) by Kristin Cashore because it is the ONLY book on your list that I've read and I gave it 5 stars!

2. The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson because it looks really good and I have it on my TBR shelf.

3. Sea of Shadows (Age of Legends, #1) by Kelley Armstrong because she is a really good author, one of my favorite of this genre

I hope you are able to find a good read among these three. Happy reading!

message 37: by Mandiann (new)

Mandiann (goodreadscommandiann) | 7536 comments My Partner is Raya.

Here are your picks:

The Perks of Being a Wallflower - because standalone's are great and this one did live up to its hype (in my opinion).

The Winner's Curse - because I recently read book one and thought it was a good start to a series

Insurgent - because it helps you continue a series.

Trisha | 31447 comments My partner is Dezra:

Wow, you had some really great books on your shelf! It was so hard to just narrow it down to 3!

But I have to...so :)

1. Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
because this was probably my #1 favorite book I read last year.

2. Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna, #1) by Kendare Blake
because it's a great horror story and a wonderful adventure. I loved this one so much (and I hope you do too!)

3. The Retribution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #3) by Michelle Hodkin
because it finishes a series for you and is really a great ending (or I thought so anyway :D)

I hope whichever one you pick is a winner!

The Shadow of the Wind (The Cemetery of Forgotten Books, #1) by Carlos Ruiz Zafón .. The description is very intriguing. This book is much different than my normal genre.

The Dark Divine (The Dark Divine, #1) by Bree Despain ... Looks interesting

because this was a really cute book, and a perfect way to end the summer by reading a book about a roadtrip.

2) The Rose & the Dagger (The Wrath & the Dawn, #2) by Renee Ahdieh
because this looks like a good series.

3) Nevernight (The Nevernight Chronicle, #1) by Jay Kristoff
because it looks interesting.

Perfect Chemistry (Perfect Chemistry, #1) by Simone Elkeles . I loved this, one of the best ya romances

Unbelievable (Pretty Little Liars, #4) by Sara Shepard . I just read this the other day and it's fun, full of twists and turns and a quick read.

Ashly (ashlyh) My Partner is Katrina

1. The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner : because I heard a lot of good things about it and I have it on my shelf.
2. The Crown (The Selection, #5) by Kiera Cass : because it's the last in a series.
3. This Savage Song (Monsters of Verity, #1) by Victoria Schwab : because it's a new release.

1. Red Queen (Red Queen, #1) by Victoria Aveyard because I love it and I hope you'll love it too. :D

2. Scheisshaus Luck Surviving the Unspeakable in Auschwitz and Dora by Pierre Berg because it sounds interesting. I once read a book about a man who escaped Treblinka extermination camp and it was really good. I hope this book is as good and thought provoking as the one I read.

3. The Fifth Floor by Julie Oleszek because the synopsis sounds interesting and I want to know, what happened to Anna and why is she still haunted by the past.

1. The Last Boy and Girl in the World by Siobhan Vivian because this seems like a cute contemporary
2. Bright Young Things (Bright Young Things, #1) by Anna Godbersen because I have been wanting to read this and think you should give it a try
3. Hunting Lila (Lila, #1) by Sarah Alderson because after reading the synopsis this seems really interesting and cool

I hope I picked you a winner! Happy reading :)

2. Blood Rose Rebellion by Rosalyn Eves because I've never heard about this series and it seems interesting.

3. Sybil The Classic True Story of a Woman Possessed by Sixteen Personalities by Flora Rheta Schreiber because I'm interested in all things mental health and this sounds extremely interesting!

Thanks for your picks, too. Very difficult to choose between the 3 books you chose but I think I'll start with Ready Player One by Ernest Cline because the copy is actually my cousin's and I guess he might want it back :D I'd love to read the other 2 books as well if I have time.
