((kk))it was now November, and Alexei was almost three months old. Amelia was four. Alexei's soft cries could be heard from the monitor. It was a little after seven. Natalia stirred, waking up with a sigh.
Elian was in the shower. When he came out, he started to get ready for the day.
Natalia sat up with a grunt and rubbed at her eyes. She shuffled out of bed and adjusted her pajama shorts as she walked to Alexei's room.
He looked up and smiled a little at her as he dressed. Then he went to wake Amelia up.
She blew him a kiss and went into Alexei's room. "Hi baby boy." She cooed, picking him up.Amelia was sprawled on her bed, cutely snoring.
He smiled at her and walked into Amelia's room. "Hey, Amy," he said softly, gently waking her up. "Time to get ready for school."
Amelia whined, curling up into a ball.
"Come on, don't make the tickle monster attack," he grinned.
She whined again but this time it turned into a giggle.
He grinned, "one... two..." he waited a few moments. "Two and a quarter... two and a half... two and three quarters," he waited another beat.
"I awake!" She sat up quickly, hugging him while giggling.
He laughed and picked her up. "Good morning, princess," he hugged her before setting her down, "go wash your teeth," he smiled.
She smiled and nodded, skipping into the bathroom.
He watched her and went to check on Natalia.
Natalia was just finishing changing Alexei. She buttoned up his onesie and picked him up. "There's a handsome man." She held him in front of her face, smiling at him.
He grinned and took a video through the crack of the door.
Natalia cooed at him, kissing his nose and lightly bouncing him. Alexei giggled and chewed on his fist. "You look just like your daddy." She smiled and then held him on her shoulder as she picked up a blanket, draping it over him.
He smirked and put his phone away before going to check on Amelia.
Amelia was picking out her clothes for the day.
He knocked on her door and then stepped in.
Amelia looked up and smiled. The outfit she picked out didn't match at all.
"Uhh, how about we change the trousers?" He said, picking out a pair that matched.
She frowned. "But I like those ones."
"Okay, why not change the shirt then?" He asked her. "I think this one looks better with your trousers," he said, picking one out.
Sh watched him, unsure. She then nodded. "Okay."
He smiled and sat down to help her dress.
She dressed mostly herself, only asking for help to button her pants and put her socks on.
He helped her when she needed it and then stood.
"Breakfast!" Natalia called from the kitchen.Amelia grinned. "Race you!"
"You always win!" He whined playfully. "Okay fine, lets go."
She giggled. "One...two... tree!" She ran out of her room and down the hall.
He followed after her, pretending torun, "careful on the stairs!" He called.
She giggled and held onto the banister while going down the stairs.
He went after her and pretended to be out of breath when he reached. "You get faster every time!"
Amelia ran into the kitchen, hugging onto Natalia's legs. Natalia stumbled a little, giggling. "Okay little racer; at the table." She motioned to her food on the table. Amelia nodded and climbed into her chair. Natalia looked over at Elian, blushing. "Morning." She murmured. They had a wild night.
Elian smirked at her blush, "morning, sweetheart," he went over and kissed her blushing cheek before hugging her from behind.
She smiled and leaned back into him. Alexei was in her arms while she burped him. "Sleep okay?" She asked him.
"Great," he kissed her neck snd then went to get Amelia some milk.
She bit her lip and playfully pushed him with her hip. She adjusted Alexei in her arms and brought him into the living room, where she placed him on his blanket on the floor for tummy time.
He grinned but didn't say anything as he poured Amelia her milk and then let her eat.
"Tank you." Amelia said. She ate her pancakes and fruit.
"You're welcome, sweetie," he said. He looked back at Natalia, "you're not eating?" He frowned.
