Hi everybody! So sorry we haven't been active lately! We've all been super busy but we're hoping to get back on track with our August read and we'd like you to help us choose it! Our theme is HISTORICAL and we'd love to read your recommendations about it!

I'll start us off by suggesting The Bronze Horseman which I''ve wanted to read for a while!

Laura (berry_bookish) | 17 comments My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows
Ivory and Bone by Julie Eshbaugh
Burial Rights by Hannah Kent
The Cure for Dreaming by Cat Winters
Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys
The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig (already read and loved)
Outlander?!?! :D by Diana Gabaldon (already read and love)

Alex (ReadingBetweenTheNotes) (readingbetweenthenotes) Love the suggestions so far! I don't read a lot of historical fiction so I apologise if any of these aren't appropriate.

All The Light We Cannot See
The Blind Assassin
Memoirs of a Geisha
A Conneticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court

Also, some that I've already read and loved are:
The Book Thief
The Kite Runner
The Invention of Wings

Katy (katy10925) | 2 comments Definitely, definitely recommend Ivory and Bone. Such an amazing book from a new author (which I always love to support).

Harley (harleyreads) | 1 comments The Count of Monte Cristo
The Scarlet Letter
Memoirs of a Geisha
Sarah's Key
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
Go Set a Watchman
Their Eyes Were Watching God

Not sure if I am on the right track that you all were looking for, but these are all in my TBR pile & considered "historical" according to my Goodreads search.
