On this thread, put down a book you would like to be added to the voting (which will happen later).

Each month will go on a theme. I'm thinking since this club is so new and people will hear about it last-minute, the theme should Short Books. So, please put down some short books (150 pages or less) you would like to discuss August 25th.

God, Are You There? It's Me, Margaret
Bridge to Terabithia
The Little Prince
Kissing Doorknobs

Ella Minnow Pea has about 200 pages, but it's a quick read.

We actually did Screwtape Letters last time there was a book club. Ella Minnow Pea would be fun, though.

Man's Search for Meaning is 165 pages, so close enough. (You can see how many pages are in a book on its Goodreads page.) This would also be a good nomination for memoir month if it doesn't get picked this month.
