Dimitris Karagkounis (jimkaragkounis) | 12 comments For me it's dystopian. I just can't seem to be interested in any of the popular dystopian books, even though I've read some of the classic dystopians.

message 2: by moya (new)

moya saoirse (moyan) paranormal.

message 3: by ✨ jami ✨ (new)

✨ jami ✨ (jamieson_) | 27 comments I don't like contemporary much, especially contemporary romances much - I find them a bit cringe alot of the time. I have read some contem. I really liked, but I also rarely go to them over other genres at all

message 4: by Miruna (new)

Miruna I really can't get into paranormal or sci-Fi books. I tried to get into These Broken Stars, but it was so difficult after the halfway point.

message 5: by Chloe (new)

Chloe | 1 comments I personally don't like Contemporary or a lot of the YA romance. I've tried to read a lot of them and they never really grabbed my attention

message 6: by Holland (new)

Holland (skittyy) | 9 comments Sci fi. Just can't do it lol.

message 7: by Mac (new)

Mac (excessiveannotations) Contemporaries. I am still a newbie when it comes to popular YA books, (like, I haven't read Divergent or the whole hunger games series.) so for now I don't read contemporaries. I usually read dystopian, and fantasy. You wont see me with a horror book either. :)

message 8: by Leticia (new)

Leticia (leticiaromantic) | 21 comments Horror and although I read some contemporaries it's really not my thing. I prefer fantasy.

Anni (coolpolarbear123) | 20 comments Definitely contemporaries. I can't stand romance

Chelsea (thepageprincess) (thepageprincess) | 19 comments I don't exactly have a least favorite. I read anything, but I'd say either horror or thriller because I don't read them at all. Not that I wouldn't try, it just doesn't seem like my thing.

message 12: by Amieza (new)

Amieza Balqis (amiezabalqis) | 21 comments I don't have a least favourite genre yet. Usually I don't like the book with slow storyline

imashamedofmyoldreviews (pleasedontjudgeme_ichanged) I don't like to read Dystopians much. They're not bad, really, but books put me in the mood of their surroundings and most dystopians just depress me. Even Looking for Alaska made me spiral into a sad haze.

Sharla | 18 comments I hate fantasy and sci-fi. If there is a tad of fantasy I'm fine but I hate Harry Potter and divergent e.g

Lately I've really been fed up with Dystopian.

message 34: by Mary (new)

Mary I don't like contemporary romances. Tend to avoid them.

message 35: by Xoxoasia (new)

Xoxoasia | 103 comments I love horror movies to death, but horror books are a whole other story. With books, it's your mind imagining the scenes for you and it gets pretty scary. I really don't enjoy feeling like something is going to come out from my closet while trying to read a book.

message 46: by [deleted user] (last edited Mar 21, 2021 12:41AM) (new)

Historical (to some extent; depends on content), Magical Realism, Poetry, YA (to some extent; still read it depending on the content). I also do not like fairy tale retellings If I were to read one it all depends once again upon the content. The worst ones are YA Fairy Tale Re-Telling's.

Emily Pinches (emily-katie-pinches) | 1 comments I struggle with dystopia! Not that I haven’t read some awesome dystopian books, but I struggle to find my flow whilst reading them!
Also, books about politics?? Or even having politics as a main theme kind of bores me - the politics of faerie courts and stuff... just not for me.
