Lisa (anzlitlovers) | 109 comments Oh bother, bother, bother....
I was two thirds of the way through entering a complete list of all the ALS Gold Medal Awards winners (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ALS_Gol...) when I discovered that there were some of the more recent award winners listed as having won the Australian Literature Society Gold Medal instead of the ALS Gold Medal (which is what everyone calls it, and what it's listed as at Wikipedia and also at Austlit http://www.austlit.edu.au/austlit/pag... which is the definitive portal for all things in Australian literature).
The ALS list that I've done is almost complete (there are a couple of award winners for whom no *book* is listed at Wikipedia so I can't add them till I find out what the name of the book was), see https://www.goodreads.com/award/show/... while the other list only covers the years 1942-2010 and there are heaps of titles missing within that period. It skips all the titles up to 1942, skips to 1955 and then there's no listings for 30 years, after that it's ok except there's no entries after 2010, see https://www.goodreads.com/award/show/...
Not sure what I should do about this!

Emy (emypt) | 5036 comments I would merge the more complete record with the other award, which won't lose your existing work.

https://www.goodreads.com/award/show/... has more information and data than https://www.goodreads.com/award/show/... and if we follow other merging rules, the 6978 record entirely contains the name listed in 11131.
