Rachel Davies | 25 comments Hello!

Currently the photo for Paul Chan's New New Testament is rather dark. Could you update to the photo on Amazon which is brighter (

Thank you!

Codex | 3400 comments I see what you mean . . . but GR is rather strict about not deleting cover images unless it’s justified. The problem here is determining that the two images are in fact exactly the same and only differ in rendering.

To add to the doubt: the existing (dark) GR image also appears on both Book Depository and WorldCat; the blue (lighter) image appears on Amazon and AbeBooks. So which is correct? I’m leaning towards just leaving the existing cover alone.

Any other librarian care to weigh in on this . . . ?

Nan (xxmzsmilesxx) | 1167 comments Yikes, I just did a bit of research on the book, and I also think Codex should leave the existing cover alone because GR policy is strict against deleting covers of books. And there is a possibility of the book sharing the same ISBN with different covers,

Even if Rachel has the copy of the book physically, I think the best thing to do is make an ACE and maybe write a librarian note about the conflict?

Adding an ACE would be fine.
