Jannelle (jannellereads) | 64 comments In this Quarterly Challenge for July, August, and September, we are expanding our book horizons and stepping slightly out of our comfort zones while basking in the familiar through some rereads.
All you have to do is select the Reading Level and Topics for the books you will be reading and cross them off your original post as you read them. Of course, you can either choose your topics in advance or select the topics as you read the books - whichever way you prefer is perfect!

Here are the rules:
1. Choose your difficulty level and create a post so that a link can be made which we will all be able to reference.
2. If you change your difficulty level at any point in time, DO NOT DELETE THE POST. Simply edit your original post with your new difficulty level.
3. As you continue to complete the books on your list, go back to your original post and add the books and the date which you completed them in conjunction with the topic you had selected for that particular book.
4. ALL TOPICS MAY ONLY BE USED ONCE. Same is said for books. You cannot use the same book for 2 or more different topics. You can, however, use the same book for other challenges you may be participating in. :)
5. The books chosen can be from ANY genre and are all only limited to the topics selected from the list below.
6. You can only repeat challenge topics if you have already used up all 13.

If you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask!

Reading Levels:
Newbie: 1-3 books
Rookie: 4- 6 books
Intermediate: 7- 9 books
Addict: 10 – 12 books
Book-a-Holic: 13 + books

Topics:
Read a book with/that…
• Was published this year
• You can finish reading within the day
• You were assigned to read in school (grade school, college, etc.)
• Was recommended to you
• Is "banned" or was banned (banned book week is from Sept. 25 - Oct. 1 this year). You can find banned books here: http://www.ala.org/bbooks/frequentlyc...
• Was published before you were born (you don't have to go the classical literature route here - unless you want to. You can pick something easier like a comic or a classic children's book).
• You stopped reading and is still on your TBR
• You own but have never read
• You have already read at least once
• Was published in July, August, or September of any year
• A genre you don't normally read
• Is guaranteed to make you happy - this could be a reread or maybe the next book in a series you're already loving? Basically: Whatever will make you happy!
• Is currently on any bestsellers list

Have Fun!
