Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments The sun moved slowly as it was starting to disappear behind the hospital building. Abigail's escort nudged her gingerly to move from her spot in the shadows. "Abigail, please. The sun is not going to harm you, I promise." Abigail sharply turned her head and glared at the escort. "Keep your forked tongue between you teeth! I will not be poisoned by your lies, snake!" she said quickly. The escort slowly moved her hand from Abigail's shoulder. Abigail nodded in satisfaction and glanced up at the fading sun. As soon as it was gone, she ran out from the shadows and perched herself on the bench.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee walked down the stone path in the courtyard. Luckily she had been given permission to go to the courtyard, but only if she had one of the nurses escort her. Of course knowing that she feared touch and couldn't be close to anyone the nurse simply waited at the door and watched. There was no way she could hurt herself out here and she couldn't escape. Vee had her arms wrapped around her stomach, a habit she learned over the years from being insecure. But it was also a way to physically hurt herself without being caught. She would dig her nails through her shirt and into her skin, numbing herself as much as possible. If someone looked at her waist they would see all the purple bruising left there. She kept her head down, watching her feet. It was so nice out. The wind was cold and there was no sun. She liked it like that. If only it would rain, she loves it when it rains.

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments Abigail sighed happily as the cold air took over and she closed her eyes. She leaned back on the bench a little bit, humming softly. She opened her eyes again, hearing someone close by. She turned her head slowly to look at Vee. She studied her carefully and turned her body on the bench. She sat on her knees and smiled pleasantly at Vee. "Is the ivory princess taking a stroll through her ivory palace?" she asked Vee softly.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee came to stop when she heard someone. She looked up to find a girl on a bench, the bench that she wanted to sit on. But now she wouldn't, not when Abigail was sitting there. But there was no other bench. Vee didn't stare at her for long. She never did. She was too scared. She looked away from her, but her words still stuck in her head. Ivory princess? Is she making fun of my hair? Is she making fun of me? It was the first thing that came to her. The first reason, like always. But who could blame her. They always made fun of her hair back in school. She stepped back, feeling nervous. "I..." She started. But that's all she could say.

Ivory princess. I wonder why I never thought of that, laughed Jake from right behind her.

Vee quickly turned around and backed away. But no one was there. Jake was no where to be seen. It was just her and the black headed girl who was behind her.

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments Abigail tilted her head slightly at Vee. "Ohh, you hear them too? Voices caressing through your ivory ears and through your pretty head? I hear them too. They tell me secrets, secrets that have yet to come true," said Abigail. She stood up from the bench and backed away a little. "I'll let the ivory princess have a seat on her throne."

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee turned back to the girl. Her heart was still beating from hearing Jake. But she looked at Abigail. She heard him? She hears things too? I'm not the only one... Pretty? Vee didn't understand this girl. She was saying things no one has said to her. Pretty head? Throne? Princess? She didn't know what to think of them. She was crazy, not Vee. Vee didn't make a move toward the bench. She wouldn't dare take a step closer. All she could think about was how this girl was making fun of her. That's what this is. She shook her head no. She wouldn't sit. She didn't trust her.

Shes obviously playing with you, Jake said. Now he was sitting on the bench. His legs crossed as he leaned back and his arms stretched out to rest on top of the bench.

Vee's lips parted in a small scream. She looked to Abigail, wondering if she could see him. But then again she probably really was playing with her as Jake said.

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments Abigail sighed a little gestured to the bench. "Are the little voices filling your head with nastiness, ivory princess? They do love to torment me too, but they need me if they want to be heard and have a voice. Of course, no one believes the Malkavian, but that is foolish. We are the only bloodline that truly can make sense, it is the others who do not understand our truths.." Abigail was trailing off. She knew what she was talking about, but she had accidentally got off topic. She looked at Vee and smiled. "I seemed to have forgotten my manors. I am Abigail, at your service." She bowed to Vee.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee shook her head at Abigail. She took a safe step back from her. She didn't even know what she was talking about. "Get away... Your crazy... Get away." Vee's voice was shaking. She held tightly to her waist, trying to numb herself even more. She took another step from her and Jake. The fear filled her eyes.

Wow? She bowed. She's crazy just like you.

"Stop.. Stop talking." That part was meant to Jake. But of course she wouldn't know that.

Jake laughed at her. Don't start crying now.

Vee shook her head again. This time her hands went to hear ears to cover their voices. "Leave me alone! Leave me alone! Stop laughing." Tears started to well up in her eyes. She started to tremble. She wasn't crazy. She wasn't. The girl before her was.

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments Abigail watched silently as Vee was getting more uncomfortable. She frowned slightly and said, "I mean no offense, ivory princess." She glanced at Vee's waist, catching a glimpse of her wounds. She frowned more. "The ivory princess has been wounded.. Why is she wounded?" she asked quietly.

message 11: by Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (last edited Jul 08, 2016 06:55PM) (new)

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) "I'm not the ivory princess!" Vee cried. She took in a few deep breaths. Why was it harder to breath now? Wounds? What wounds? She saw? Vee's hands went back to her waist, pulling the shirt further down to cover herself. She must've gotten s peak when she covered her ears.

Oh please. You think all this clothing and long sleeves is going to hide all the imperfections you've caused on yourself.

"Leave me alone... You don't know me... You don't know anything about me." She cried. She talking to Jake though. She still clutched her sides tightly.

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments Abigail slowly turned her head to the bench. She glared as a figure seemed to appear sitting there. "Dark shadow of Fear, why do you torment her so?" She took large steps towards the bench and wrapped her hands around the neck of the figure she saw. "Release her!" she screamed at it, tightening her hands around the neck. The nurse watched in terror as Abigail appeared to be strangling someone that wasn't there. "I would drain you shadow of Fear, but your blood would be as thin as satin sheets!" She continued to glare and strangle the figure.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) ((I'll post in a few. About to eat))

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments ((Okay))

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee's eyes widened. She watched as Abigail approached Jake and choke him. She watched as he struggled to get free. How did a peaceful walk turn to this? Before anything could happen to her Vee quickly turned around and started to run. Her white hair getting in her face and sticking to her wet cheeks. She just wanted to have a nice walk. That's all. She didn't want any of this to happen. Vee ran as fast as she could on the stone path, wanting to head back to her cell. She could see her nurse at the door way, but was to busy talking to someone.

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments Abigail let go of his throat as her escort ran up to her. "Miss LaCroix, please calm down!" The nurse took a bag out of her pocket and spilled the contents onto the stone ground. Abigail's eyes widened as she stared at the little buttons that were now in a pile in front of her. She slowly got down on her knees and moved her finger over one of them. "Beautiful.. So beautiful.. I must count them," she whispered as she started separating the buttons into a new pile, counting them one by one.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee ran until she got to the doors. Her nurse heard her coming and quickly turned to her. "Vee? What's going on? Why are you running?" The nurse asked her. Vee stopped before she could come any closer to her. If it had been anyone else the nurse would have held her in place and calmed her down, like any nurse would. But Vee wasn't supposed to be touched. "Don't touch me... Don't touch me.." The Vee said and backed away. She looked behind her shoulder to make sure Abigail didn't follow her. Instead she found her kneeling on the floor doing something, and Jake was gone. Vee panted for air, trying to calm herself. "I want to go in. I want to go to my room." She cried. The nurse nodded and lead her in.

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments Abigail hummed softly as she gathered all the buttons and carefully put them in the bag when she was done counting. She slowly stood up and turned to the nurse. "My mind has flown away it seems.. I can't remember why I'm out here.." The nurse sighed in relief and said, "You wanted to go for a walk, Abigail. Shall I take you back to your room?" Abigail thought about it for a second and nodded. The nurse escorted Abigail down the hall as Abigail started to sing a song her mother used to sing to her when she was seven. Her voice carried through the halls.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) ((Well damn. Lol that went... Interesting. So I guess that's it?))

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments ((I suppose, unless you want to try that interaction again xD))

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) ((Another time at another place? If so sure ))

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments ((Cool))

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) ((So where too? Cafeteria or same place?))

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments ((Let's try the cafeteria))

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) ((Want me to post first?))

Onyxia The Dragon | 36 comments ((Sure))

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee had just left therapy, where of course she had one of her episodes and everything went crazy. But now she was haram less. They had injected her to calm her down to be able to escort her out without anyone getting hurt. She had requested from them to let her go to the courtyard, begged them really while she seemed half awake, and they actually allowed it. So instead of being locked up in her room where everything was white- from the lights, to the floor, to the damn cushioned walls and the bright white buzzing lights- and she would be driven crazy again in there. Even the clothes they gave her were white, since she wasn't trusted with her own clothing. But now, unable to make a scene, Vee sat outside. Not on the bench this time. Instead she went to the flowers they had planted, the roses in particular, and sat right before them. She loved roses. They were one of the few things she loved in this world. So being here next to them helped her really relax unlike the injection. She reached out and touched a rose before her hand trailed down the stem and to a thorn. There she pressed her thumb on it, closing her eyes at the pain that she welcomed.

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments Olly sat in one of the far corners of the courtyard as he burnt out a cigarette and moved his hands back over the strings of his guitar. He began to play a soft, ratger sorrowful tune, letting his fingers glide from chord to chord as he stared out into the flower beds.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee watched as the blood weld up on her thumb. She didn't stop though, she keep on pushing, until enough blood gathered that it ran down her hand and stained the hem of her white sleeve. Vee was always finding a way to hurt herself, and kill herself, it was the reason she was locked up in here. Not to mention the fact that she has schizophrenia. Still, Vee didn't of much objects to harm herself with like she did him. So she would use her nails to squeeze her waist. By now she had bruises, not no one could see them lucky. She'll always find a way to hurt herself, she'll find a way to be numbed. As the blood hit her sleeve, Vee seemed to noticed a sound. I beautiful sound. Guitar? She wondered if she was imagining it beaches of the heavy doses she was given. She didn't know. But it sounded nice. She closed her eyes, thinking she was alone, and started to hum along. Music and flower, now her two favorite things in the world. What a wonderful day so far, not including everything before she entered the courtyard of course.

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments Olly heared the faint hum of another person follow along with the music, he stopped breathing for a second and shuddered slightly, he really hated people but as long as whoever they were kept their distance he would continue to play, it wasnt as though the hummer was causing any harm. His breathing returned to normal as he continued to play, his emotions being poured into every note knowing no other way to express himself at this point.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) After a few notes Vee picked up on the rhythm. She opened her eyes to look at the roses before her again. Instead of humming now, she softly sang along. She loved to sing. She was good, but didn't admit to it. Of course she would never praise herself. But for now, Vee's eyes darted from one rose to another, drinking in their beauty. "Roses so red... They seem to be in love... But don't come ahead... They have thorns their proud of... They'll watch you bleed.. They'll watch your hurt... But only because they want to stay unhurt..." Vee made up the lyrics as she went along with the sound of the music that differed from not far. She stopped pushed her thumb against the thorn, but she didn't move to whip the blood. Instead she just stared at the roses with envy. She wishes to be like them, strong enough to protect herself.

message 33: by Aurora (new)

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments A smirk appeared on Olly's lips as the girl began to sing, part of him wished to see who she was, but most of him locked his muscles in place stopping him from moving, obly letting him continue to play. He stretched out his neck to try and see her but failed, sighing slightly and leaning back against the wall.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee stopped singing when she smelled a familiar smell. She stayed quite, and looked around. Of course it wasn't as strong as before when she settled before the rose bush, but then she had been distracted by the roses. She thought about it for a moment and after a few seconds she realized it was smoke from a cigarette. But who's had been smoking it had already finished if. She bit her lip. Now that she thought about it she wanted to smoke. She hadn't in a long while. They didn't let her here. But she missed it, it was a way to forget her problems. Along with the few other things she did. She wondered, if who ever was here would give her.

message 35: by Aurora (new)

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments 'Please... please don't stop...' Olly muttered wondering if his voice would reach her, his grip tightened slightly on the neck of his guitar. His fingers went back to playing almost robotically hoping to escape his current thought. All he could think about was Liv, and how much he missed her.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vees eyes widened when she heard a voice, a males voice. But unlike other times, her heart beat didn't pick up nor did she start to tremble in fear. The injection wouldn't let her, and well... It was surprisingly good to not feel panic. Of course she was still worried. That would never leave. But she didn't react. So he's playing... And he wants me to sing? Vee thought to herself. She was shocked. No one has ever asked her to sing. So how would she know he means it. He'll probably just make fun of her and tell her she sounds like a dying duck. She swallowed, the thought of the cigarette still in her head. She's never made a deal before, but she was tempted. Just to have that small feeing she would get from smoking. She stayed quite for a few seconds as he played. It seemed like she wouldn't, but she go ankle spoke. "I-If... If you give me one cigarette..." She whispered.

message 37: by Aurora (new)

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments 'Deal.' He said suddenly and without thinking. He stopped his playing placing its strap over his shoulder as he slowly stood up. Every atom of his being was yelling to runaway, to not talk to her but something pushed him forward. He spotted her hair among the leaves with ease once he had stood up. 'Here' he offered her a cigarette and a lighter with a shaking hand, his other hand grasped tightly around the guitar strap, his fingernails digging into his palm slightly

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee knew there was a chance she could be making fun of herself. She's making herself vulnerable, giving him the chance to hurt her. Yet she didn't care about it. She didn't care about anything. She just wanted the cigarette. She heard him agree and then movement followed. This was actually happening. She glanced at him just to catch his black hair and dark brown eyes before she tore her gaze away. Instead she looked to his guitar then to his outstretched hand that held the things she wanted. She bit her lip again, her teeth hitting her piercing. With her hand, the one that actually had almost or dried blood now run from her thumb to her sleeve, she slowly reached out and took it, careful not to touch him.

message 39: by Aurora (new)

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments He pulled his hand away quickly and instead ran it through his hair, his eyes briefly met with hers before he glanced away. Even now he couldnt stand to look at the flame that would follow. He swung his guitar back around and moved his attention back the the strings, he began to okay again,
'Oh yeah... my names Oliver... Oliver Shade...'

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee pulled her hand back to her lap once she had what she wanted. She didn't plan on smoking now. No, after she was done singing. She would light the cigarette and then hand him the lighter. She just looked at them and held onto them tightly, reminding herself why she's singing for him. It honestly surprised her really. She wouldn't do this. Never thought she would at least. But here she was, about to sing for a stranger. Not only that, but she wasn't reacting. Whatever it was that they have her on was strong. She didn't feel like getting up and away from him. She didn't hear Jake. She wasn't so scared. She heard him introduce himself. Oliver... A name of her favorite singer in a band. She wondered if this meant she had to tell him her name. She never told anyone her name just like that. In fact she hasn't since she came, unless it was once and she can't remember. But the staff know her name, so that doesn't count. But they were making a deal. They should know with who... Right? Very softly, and still not looking at him, she whispered her name softly. "Vee Sky."

message 41: by Aurora (new)

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments Olly nodded a small nervous smile on his face, he started trying to control his breathing again, trying to slow the rise and fall of his chest he turned his gaze upwards still playing only now the song had taken on a slightly happier tone, switching some of the minor chords for majors.
'That's a pretty name,' he muttered out hesitantly, people still terrified him, but having his guitar in his hands helped calm his nerves.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee didn't get so see his smile. But she heard what he said. She didn't believe him. She could never believe anyone that says something nice about her. "Don't lie..." She said softly. Looked up to the roses next to her. It was weird, how something so beautiful can be deadly. The redness of the roses deep in color, and soft when touched, can temp one to touch it. But if touched wrong and is to fall upon them, damage would be surely done. She listened to the tone. If only it like the tone he played before. This one was weird... Happy. She wasn't used to it. So she couldn't sing to it. "I..I can't." She admits softly.

message 43: by Aurora (new)

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments 'I never lie,' his brow drew closer together in confusion, 'I never said you had to believe me, but my mother raised me to say it as I see it... or hear it in this case.' He went back to the previous melody, still clinging on to the hope she'd sing again. 'How did it go again? Roses are red... they seem to be in love...' his voice was quiet and cracked a little with nerves, but was still oddly soothing. He kept his eyes shut trying to concentrate on the music than his situation

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee didn't believe. Even if he said he doesn't lie. Everyone lies. He has to be lying. But she decided to ignore it. All she had to do now is sing and they would leave and go there separate ways. When he started to sing, she picked up and continued to sing. "But don't come ahead... They have thorns their proud of... They'll watch you bleed.. They'll watch your hurt... But only because they want to stay unhurt..." She started. Vee seemed to forget that she was speaking her own feelings, something she wouldn't do. She always kept to herself. But singing, something she loved so much, she spoke without thinking. " There's this girl... That cries on her own... Got nobody to go to and she feels so scared... Doesn't wanna go to school and cries in her bed... Inside the pain haunts her, day by day.... She just wants happiness but emotions disappoint...
She blames herself and it drives her maaaad

"For every single little trouble that she's ever had...
The pain she endures you can see it through her shirt...
Bearing the scars of society's buuuurns"

((Lol please don't judge XD. I'm not a song writer. I didn't know what to do in the end so I just copied and changed some song from online))

message 45: by Aurora (new)

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments //ahaa nahh I wouldn't dare judge ^.^//
Olly smiled once again only this time with sadness, he could feel how the song resonated with Vee's emotions but he also started to see the patterns of his own behaviour in her words, he stayed silent as he listened to her sing, trying to remember all the words to write them down later and sing them to Sebastian, how he loved that tortoise.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee sang and sang. Everything she's been feeling lately since she came here, and even before she came here. She sang her emotions, her pain, and how she wishes to be happy. Finally, she came to her last words, which were said much softer than how she sang. "No one can love...a freak like me.." That was the first time she actually referred to the girl as her while singing. But she didn't even think about it. Sing she had forgotten Oliver was here. She was so lost in the lyrics she hadn't even noticed the tears that stained her cheeks. She didn't even notice that at one point she had closed her eyes and sang like that. But finally, she felt lighter... Like something had been on her shoulders and she's been carrying them for a while till now.

message 47: by Aurora (new)

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments Olly let the guitars music trail off as Vee finished her song, he thought it disrespectful to ask if she was okay, or offer to listen to her if ever she needed it, he instead offered her a tissue, unsure if she knew she was crying. Part of him longed to try and help her or ease her pain but he knew that wasn't what she wanted so he kept his distance from her and once again dragged his free hand through his hair

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee finally opened her eyes when the Maurice stop played. That had been easier than she though. She noticed when her eyes landed on him he was holding a tissue. That's when she noticed she was crying. She mentally yelled at herself. She didn't let herself cry before anyone. She didn't want to look weak. But it was too late for that, especially after what she said. She took and and moved to whip her tears. "Thank you.." She softly mumbled. She didn't say that to anyone, and maybe it was because no one helped her.

Aurora (aurora_the_lycan) | 130 comments 'Don't worry, I won't tell anyone...' he blurted out before rethinking about what Vee had said earlier about believing him, 'Because if I told you wouldn't sing for me again right? So you see I have no logical reason to tell... yeah... see...' He fumbled over his words his tongue getting caught mid sentence and causing him to pause for a moment. He hated how pathetic and anxious he looked right now, he hated the fact that he was actually anxious about Vee's opinion of him even more.

Ƒᴀվᘔᴀ... {Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee didn't understand him. He wanted her to sing for him? Did that mean he liked how she sang? Or did he just want to encourage her and make her happy to gain her trust just so he can make fun of her? Like Jake. She didn't trust him. She had no reason too. But the way he spoke, so nervous. It was like he was scared of her. But why would he be scared of her? She was scared of him. Even though he probably couldn't see it because of the medication she was on. She looked down to her lap where the cigarette and lighter was. Maybe this wasn't so bad though. He wouldn't tell. She'd know if he did. People would speak about it and make fun of her. So if he didn't and agreed to give her a cigarette every time she sang for him, then maybe, just maybe, she would. But how could she trust him? That's always the question. She couldn't. "How do I know I can trust you?" She asked him in her same soft voice, still not looking at him. "You can say you won't... But words are just words..."
