HI all - I thought that it might be great to share other links that are helpful and will start with my book blog:

Louise | 1171 comments I love your blog and it's great that we can finally talk about it! I just read your most recent entry.

Oooh, having a “list” of fascinating authors that we would love to have lunch with is a great idea! I don't think I'd be able to eat though, hahaha.

Ha ha - I just hope that one day an author will read my blog post and take me up on it!!! I will add a trail for this... kind of like "If I had a million dollars..." a nice spot for imagining.

thanks for your feedback on my blog - it is really a fun hobby that I am proud of and hope inspires others to read more!

It is almost July but wondering what the group thinks about picking our monthly reads from the 100 Books that Make You Proud to Be a Canadian list? If people are interested or have other suggestions, I will be adventurous and experiment with the poll feature so we can vote. Thoughts?

Susan | 740 comments Great idea! I've read quite a few on the list but there are some glaring omissions, and some of those books are so good they deserve a reread anyway.

This is so awesome to have such an enthusiastic group!! I will add a trail and suggest that we all pick our top 5 picks and then I will rank them to choose the top 5 for a vote and see if i can get the poll feature to work. We will have to do it fairly quickly if we want to start July 1 which is a perfect way to celebrate Canada Day!!

Naomi | 4 comments I don't know how I haven't discovered your blog until now, Susan! I try to seek out Canadian book blogs in particular, but there are obviously still some out there I haven't found! Can't wait to explore it in more detail. And, congrats on the being interviewed on the Candy Palmater show!! How exciting!

If anyone is interested in checking out yet another book blog, mine is at https://consumedbyink.ca/.

Richard Summerbell | 2 comments I have an intermittently active blog under my sci-fi pseudonym that has some excerpts from my sci-fi book (most recently on LGBT & Islam for those interested) and some miscellaneous pieces.

This is the most popular piece, a short one written for a contest. It's about a dinner conversation with my very elderly publishing-agent friend and neighbour.
