Danii (itsdanii) | 985 comments I wish we could post pictures in the chat lmao, I have a list written of all my planned books that I wish I could just take a picture of instead of typing it all out!

message 104: by Danii (new)

Danii (itsdanii) | 985 comments Currently I'm on Overdrive checking out all the books I need this month on my kindle :b

onceuponatimeareview | 2335 comments Danii, if you upload it somewhere you can use the html code to show us.

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments That's interesting how they do the adjusted math. I was thinking averaging what the team member had and then putting that in for people that got kicked out but oh well! Now I'm nervous because I typically read over 100 books a year and I'm already at like 70 for this year haha.

message 110: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16230 comments I might also join in on Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

message 111: by Danii (new)

Danii (itsdanii) | 985 comments Okay so I'm doing these buddy reads so far:
The Glittering Court (The Glittering Court, #1) by Richelle Mead
Sea of Shadows (Age of Legends, #1) by Kelley Armstrong
The Heir (The Selection, #4) by Kiera Cass
Fire Study (Study, #3) by Maria V. Snyder
A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2) by Sarah J. Maas
Red Queen (Red Queen, #1) by Victoria Aveyard
And possibly reading these depending on time and if I can find buddy reads:
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead
A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, #2) by George R.R. Martin
Of Poseidon (The Syrena Legacy, #1) by Anna Banks
The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1) by Alexandra Bracken
The Iron Trial (Magisterium, #1) by Holly Black
And if I have extra time at the end of the month I'll probably read a couple more of the series A Shade of Vampire which are really short and easy reads for some extra points (:

The last two are free but are middle grade and under 150 pages so i dont think they count

message 118: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments My last planned buddy read is The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1) by Patrick Rothfuss on the 17th. This one is a little longer so I'm thinking I should be done with it like the 22nd? You guys could always start Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices, #1) by Cassandra Clare before me and I would just hop in when I can.

message 119: by Siobhan (new)

message 125: by Jamie (last edited Jun 29, 2016 01:13PM) (new)

Jamie | 12276 comments Spiderwick has an edition for over 150 so just use that one and you are fine. I'll even Buddy read it with you if you want :)

Also, for winter how does the 18th sound?

message 126: by Danii (new)

Danii (itsdanii) | 985 comments Have any of you read Darkness Becomes Her (Gods & Monsters series)? My library FINALLY got all of them and I only got to read the first one years ago, so I think I'm going to reread that and continue on in the series :D SO excited!

message 127: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments It sounds familiar, but I don't think so.

message 128: by Danii (new)

message 133: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4452 comments Not yet, but I will make a list in the afternoon.

message 134: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Well I signed myself up for one R2R which starts today and I'll probably spend most of July reading it. Took me 9 days to finish the first one :(
Demorn City of Innocents (The Asanti #2) by David Finn

message 135: by Danii (new)

Danii (itsdanii) | 985 comments That's probably what will happen if I decide to read A Clash of Kings /: I don't have many buddy reads for the end of the month so I'll probably just read it towards then.

message 139: by Danii (new)

Danii (itsdanii) | 985 comments Yay, starting off strong!! (:

message 140: by Danii (new)

Danii (itsdanii) | 985 comments I think I'm going to start off with The Glittering Court, a few days before the buddy read!

message 141: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Sweet! I'll be starting CoHF, and the Knife of Never Letting Go. I'll have to finish the second one basically within 12 hours for my class. So when I get to the Glittering Court, I'll probably still be reading CoHF.

message 142: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4452 comments What class is it?

message 143: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments It's for my Literature for Young Adults class. I have some other more boring books for my Genres of Writing class as well, but I don't really want to read those ones :(

message 144: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16230 comments I will be starting with City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments, #6) by Cassandra Clare and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling both buddy reads.

message 145: by Dr. Andy (new)

message 147: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4452 comments COHF was really good!

onceuponatimeareview | 2335 comments COHF was the best out all six books. I think that and COLS were my favorite. I love all of TID series equally. I haven't read Lady Midnight yet, I mean I bought the book and all I just have to wait to use it for a different challenge.

message 149: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4452 comments Agreed

message 150: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Cheyenne if I get it Lady Midnight for free and we buddy read it, it would count! Maybe we could do it like later in July?
