K B (kbcook) | 182 comments As confessional Lutheran, I was caught by the title of this book. It was originally written (in Latin) by Adgidius Hunnius (1550-1603) as an analysis of the writings of John Calvin and his interpretations of the NT teachings concerning a number of important doctrines. The translation was done in 2012. The book is titled The Judaizing Calvin, by Aegidius Hunnius, Paul A. Rydecki (Translator), James D. Heiser (Introduction). It reads a little stiffly because of the vernacular of the translation process, but once you get used to it, it goes well.

Becky | 38 comments I'd definitely recommend Holiness: Its Nature, Hindrances, Difficulties, and Roots. I think it's a must read!
