Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments So there is a king and he needs a wife. No one wants to marry him, he is handsome and strong but is cruel and cold and looks at women as figures and toys. So he kidnaps a girl he has had his guards spying on for months. I really want to play that girl so we can do doubles and you could play a female maid who is with a male guard?

((Rose's idea))

Okay here we are! Once again!

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Arabella sighed as she took the walk to get her step father water. She walked to the well in the woods and pulled up water from the bucket already in there. Many times had she done this. She was exhausted though. She had to stay with the man after her mother passed away and he was cruel. She smoothed her dress and heard a twig snap, "who is there?" She demanded in worry and swallowed. She slowly went back to her things but not before a sack was thrown over her head. She gasped and struggled as she was dragged back and hoisted into some type of carriage. The guards held her down as the carriage was brought back to the palace that looked over the entire kingdom. This is what the king wanted and this girl is what he would recieve. They had been watching her for months. She was beautiful and submissive and quiet. All aspects a king would search for in a bride. He finally had his ideal girl. Now she just had to learn his rules.

Liam sighed and softly kissed Samantha as she cleaned the King's room for the arriving girl of his. The wardrobe was being filled with gowns. He looked at Sam, he knew she was uncomfortable wit how the king decided to obtain this girl but he also knew that if Sam had said anything against the king, there would be consequences. He sighed, "my love maybe this will make him happy," he murmured, "maybe this girl will be happier here. I mean I told you about her poor situation. Maybe this will be a better life?" He tried to make her feel better but the king was all too excited to get his hands on this girl. He was an ass and he just wanted her for arm candy and for someone to go back to at night. A companion that shut up and did as he asked. Liam was head of the guard so he was closest to the king. He heard the gates screech up, "she is here," he murmured and sighed, "I will see you down there," he murmured and walked down to bow to the king then stand to the right of him.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments King Jackson had sent his men out on a mission. After long months of having them watch the girl he had seen the day he'd gone to visit the people so many months ago he had assigned four of his guards to watch her house. To watch her. Learn her daily patterns and then he'd tell them when to bring her to him. Today was that day. He had told them before they had left to watch her for the day to watch her closely. Watch her until she was alone, and they could easily get her without anyone noticing she had gone missing. Any way they could. He didn't care how they did it as long as she ended up in the carriage and back here at the palace at the end of the day. Waiting now for them to arrive back with his some- day- to - be- wife. But before she became his wife, she would have to learn his rules. And be able to fallow them.

Samantha had heard about the girl that the King had chosen to take as his own. Not only for Liam but form others in the palace. They had all heard talk. And it drove her crazy, despite Liam's reassurances that her life had been horrible and she was in a bad place as it was she couldn't picture the girl that they all talked about being happy here. If it wasn't for Liam she'd hate her job here and how she sometimes got talked to. But at least she had one bright spot in her life. Everything else didn't matter. Not that the girl would now. She thought as she finished up with the room. And then headed down to where the girl would be arriving. Standing off to the side with everyone else as they waited for the girl to get out. And meet her new fate.

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara gasped as she was tossed to the floor and the bag was removed from her head. Her eyes adjusted to the harsh light and she blinked at the huge room she was in. No homes were this big except the palace- she swallowed as she was forced into a bow. She stood straight and looked at everyone in the room, her hands trembling. There was a bruise on her cheek from her step father which the guards knew they'd be punished for. They were supposed to make sure she wasn't marked up. Her eyes were huge and confused. Why was she dragged here? Her eyes widened, "I... Have I done something? I-I know there is a curfew my king but I... My stepfather had insisted on water," she whispered, "I... Trust me I wouldn't have been out so late unless it was important," she whispered. She was so frightened and confused.

Liam frowned and watched her. The poor girl was distraught. He watched his king and he looked smug until he saw her bruise. His eyes met Samantha's and he shook his head when she took a step to comfort her. He loved her for that. Her need to care for people, he really lived that about her but she couldn't do that. Right now no interactions could be made between anyone but the girl and the king. He watched her shake though and turned and whispered to a maid to add an extra blanket to the royal chamber.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments King Jackson had marveled at her when she had first steeped from the carriage. Although now the only thing he could see was the blossoming bruise on the girl's face. He had strictly told the guards not to mark her up. He'd be giving them all a stein talking to later on about fallowing his orders. Seeing her a mess with nerves. Steeping forward to greet her. "I don't care, what your stepfather insisted on. And you have done nothing wrong, but for now you will be remaining here, with me." He told her glancing at one of the guards off to the side thinking that he'd have him escort her to the rooms he'd had set up for her in a moment. "Now. Tell me, what is your name?"

Samantha had watched as the girl had steeped out of the carriage distraught by the situation of the whole ordeal. And then had been forced to bow to the king by a couple of the guards that had brought her here. Steeping forward to go comfort the girl, and tell her that she wasn't in any kind of trouble. But had stopped when she'd caught Liam looking at her from across the hall and shaking his head. Letting go of a sigh as she steeped back in the long line where she'd been. Glad that she'd caught his shake of the head, seeing as if she had made it all the way to the girl, when this girl was only suppose to interact with the King right now, she would of been punished. Looking down as the king started to address the girl.

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara's eyes widened, "Ara... My name is Ara," she murmured and swallowed, "I... I'm staying? Why am I staying here? My stepfather will not be happy if I do not return home," she whispered nervously. She didn't understand his point or why it was such a big deal she was here, "um... Why are there so many people here and why am I here then?" She asked slowly. A guard rolled his eyes. This girl was a nervous mess and asked too many questions. He already hated her and the king's stupid attraction to the poor girl. She lived in a shack. Regardless of her looks why would the king possibly want her?

Liam watched the girl and stepped forward, "my king perhaps you should take her to your chambers to explain this all. Having the entire staff here must be overwhelming," he whispered, "I don't mean to intrude on your instructions but perhaps she would be more apt to obeying and hearing what you have to say," he murmured softly to him. When he nodded Liam looked at the guards, "our king has it from here," he instructed then went to Samantha and led her to his room. As the head guard he got his own small room, so he had Samamntha with him. He kissed her, "you can see her tomorrow," he murmured, "while the king is tending to business you can check in on her," he stroked her hair, "as long as she obeys him there should be no problem," he murmured.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments King Jackson nodded when Liam one of his top guards had steeped in and said that maybe he should take her to his rooms to explain everything to her. Addressing the whole room and telling them to go about themselves while he lead Ara out of the large room and to his chambers. Not even looking back to check to see if she was still fallowing him. Seeing as he knew she was. Stopping at the doors to his rooms and then walking in and only shutting the door once she had entered as well.

Samantha had waited until the king and Ara had exited the room before looking up, seeing that Liam was already half way to were she was. Then fallowing him gratefully out of the large room and back to his small room where they could talk in privet. Kissing him back once they reached the inside of the small room, before he launched into talking about how she could visit Ara tomorrow. "Okay, I usually tend to his chambers so I can visit her while I'm cleaning and picking up. ..... I know. But she seemed so nervous. I couldn't help but feel bad for her."

message 12: by Rose (new)

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara swallowed and her eyes widened at the huge room. It was bigger than her entire home. She walked in a bit, she knew regular people, even some guards and maids were not allowed in here. She looked up and bowed her head to the king, "with all due respect my king I am very confused... I don't think you even know who I am I mean I have never committed a crime," she murmured softly, "and I... I'm just a bit lost. Not that I'm not grateful for the offer for me to stay it's just... It all seems a bit much and I never asked for any favors," she frowned. Little did she know her leaving was not an option and she would be the one doing him the favors. Accept not favors, she was his wife to be and she'd be obeying him from now on. She was aware of how this king was, cold and cruel which is why she wondered why on earth he would be giving her a place in the palace... In his bedroom?

Liam nodded, "good," he kissed her, "she could use a friend like you. Especially since her wedding is next week," he sighed, "we are arresting her stepfather tonight and interrogating him for what all he has done for her. It sounds horrid but the king... The wants to make sure she is... Pure," he looked down. Pure as in hasn't been sexually assaulted by him or any other man. He wanted to be the one to take her. It was a power and control thing, "anyway... After tonight she will need someone to calm her down I'm sure. Sleeping in the same bed with that man and being told that her life now belongs to him? That is bound to freak her out and she can't freak out or the king will be upset."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments Jackson soon grew tired of her babble. Although he had somewhat expected it to start out this way. Seeing as no one had informed her of her----- well. Her stay. And she knew nothing of his plans to make her his wife. Holding up a hand to silence her. "Take a seat... and I'll be happy to tell you why you're here." he told her waving to one of the chairs in the room for her to take. First he'd explain to her why she was here, and why she wouldn't be leaving. Then he'd go on with his rules and what he expected his wife to do.

Samantha looked down when he told her that they'd be arresting her stepfather tonight. She couldn't deny that she was happy to hear that, seeing as Liam had told her about her stepfather and how he had hurt her. Abused her. But she couldn't imagine even a man like that sexually assaulting her. His own daughter... but then again what did she know? He could of. Nodding her head. "I'm sure..... I wonder if she even knew that she was being watched. It's been months.... surely she had to have guessed or at least suspected. Only to be kidnapped and brought here to be told that she'd be marrying him, of all people and that she'd no longer be in control of her own life... I can't even began to image how freaked out she will become." Taking his hand and leading him to the bed to sit. Sense there was no use in standing in there room.

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara nodded slowly and sat down. She smoothed her patchy dress that was filthy from fighting-- or at least trying to fight with the guards. She was definitely not dressed to be seen by the king. She looked up into his eyes and nervously waited for his explanation. She was trying to conceal how nervous she was and she was really biting her tongue. She didn't want to give him a reason to be angry with her. She has heard rumors of how easily he got angry and how he was when he was angry, it frightened her. She really wanted to avoid that. She tuned into every word when he opened his mouth to speak.

Liam kissed her forehead, "we need not worry my dear," he murmured and sighed, "as long as she follows his rules he has no reason to harm her," he murmured. He squeezed her hand, "plus who knows... Maybe she will thaw our king's heart a bit," he murmured. It was a false hope but maybe... Just maybe this girl would be the first person he would feel something for. The king was mean and an angry man but perhaps this girl could change him, even if it was just a bit. He rubbed Samantha's back, "I fetched the warm water from the well, go take a bath and get ready for bed alright?" He kissed her lips tenderly. Two years, they had been together two years. He had saved her from an assault done by other guards and had let her stay with him so he could keep her safe at nights. He loved her so much.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments Jackson nodded when she sat. Remaining standing as he began to speak. "I've had some of my guards watching you for a while now.. today I gave word for them to bring you here. And I do know who you are, I saw you in town that day I came to visit the people so many months ago. Now. The reason on why you are here is simple. Your going to be my wife. I've arranged everything and had a couple dresses made so that you can pick the one you like the best. The wedding will take place next week. Seeing as we haven't gotten everything in order yet but it will be done and set up by next Friday." He told her simply.

Samantha licked her lips knowing that even though he told her not to worry. And that there was no reason to she still would, until she saw Ara safe and made sure she was doing better. Seeing as that was just who she was. Smiling slightly hoping on some level that he was right. That Ara would somehow end up thawing even if it was just a little--- King Jackson's heart. She would gladly give the girl her helping of just about anything if she could do that. "Yes, that would be a merical in of it's self... Alright. I'll be out in a few minutes, then we can go to bed." Even though he wouldn't be staying the full night due to having to arrest her father it would still be nice to lay with him while she could. Giving him a kiss before going to get her bath and get ready for bed.

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara nearly threw up. Her eyes widened, "I'm sorry you have been spying on me for nearly half the year?" She said and frowned, "I'm 17 how am I supposed to be your wife? I can't be. This... This is impossible? In a week? I don't even know how to be a queen... I barely know how to serve my father how am I supposed to do anything for you. I need to go. I need to leave," she murmured and stood but froze when his voice shook the room when he yelled for her to sit. She slid down and gazed up at him, "I'm sorry. I'm honored it is just... It is a shock to find out I'm marrying someone as amazing as you," she whispered softly and swallowed, "as powerful as you... It is a mystery to me why I even caught your eye. There are plenty other women out there is all. It was surprising," she murmured softly and bit her lip nervously. She didn't know she had rules. She would soon learn though there is a list of rules.

Liam smiled and tugged her into his side as they laid down. He kissed her gently and rubbed her back, "you stay in here tonight alright?" He murmured, "I won't be here and you know it worries me to leave you in the palace alone," he stroked her cheek and kissed her tenderly. He was good to her but like every man he had a couple boundaries for her, unlike Jackson though, it was simply not to leave the room at night and to go in groups to clean during the day if he was off on a mission. They were rules to keep her safe.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments So far things with his soon- to- be- wife weren't going so well. "Yes. In one week. I could list the reasons but that would take too much time. And we have quite a few things to go over if you are going to be my wife. First you will not be serving me anything, unless I say to. That is why we have servants here. You will learn that. Now we need to go over the rules. They are quit simple. Much like anything else here. One: If any other man tries to touch you that isn't myself he will be punished. Two: I expect complete and utter respect. Three: If you have a question or wish to speak to me you will call me 'Sir' or any other apportate title that suits the moment. Four: Seeing as we will be married within the coming week I am doing background checks on a few things. Seeing as we will be---- personal on our wedding night. And any other time that I see fit. " He stopped to let that sink in.

Samantha didn't like it perticalry when he had to go off on missions during the night. It worried her, just as it did him for her to leave the room while he was out at night. Or when he was out doing something during the day. Besides no one had figured out that she stayed with him during the night hours despite the fact that she'd been doing it for two years now. Kissing him back tenderly. "I wont.... you know that. I'll still be here sound asleep when you get back. Promise." She assured him, like she did every time he had go be gone at night and she'd be alone. Kissing him again.

message 18: by Rose (new)

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara frowned as she listened. She swallowed back any arguments or protests she had. She looked down at her hands and she nodded, "anything else my king?" She asked softly and pushed her hair back. She wouldn't argue. Not until after the wedding. She already upset him enough tonight. She met his gaze with her pretty dark brown eyes. At least she was protected here. Maybe not protected from him but she had to look at the positives. It was in her to think that way. She would be married to a very handsome man... She would be getting a better life, she would be kept safe from any danger. She just had to... She had to get used to having such stern rules and she would have to be used to having the pressure of needing to please him all if the time. It could be worse... Couldn't it? She turned her attention back to the king as he began to speak again.

Liam nodded, "good," he kissed her then stood and slid into all black and grabbed his sword and two knives. He stroked her cheek, "I will see you tomorrow morning," he kissed her forehead and tucked her in then dimmed the lantern so she could sleep. He left her a small gift, she got a gift every time he had to leave at night because he felt badly. He left a beautiful pendent on her night stand then slid out once she was asleep, making sure the door had locked before heading out to get Ara's father. He entered the house and captured him. It was a standard and easy job. Now they just had to interrogate him.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments Jackson nodded. It would take time for her to comply to his rules but she would sooner then latter. Looking over her for any sign of distress. And finding some but not a lot. But thought it better to finish things up in the morning, so that way at least he'd be able to think clearly in the meeting tomorrow morning. "We'll finish this up in the morning. Seeing as it's getting late and I'm sure your getting tired from the long day." He finally said thinking of the last couple of things he'd have to go over with her in the morning.

Samantha had given him a tired smile as he had kissed her forehead before he had left after dimming the lantern. It was standered when he left for a mission at night. She'd get ready for bed then he'd lay with her until she fell asleep then he would leave to go do what he needed too. Falling asleep almost the moment the light was dimmed and she heard the door lock behind him. He only locked the door when she slept alone and he wouldn't be back until the morning. For her safety. Which she couldn't blame him, for wanting to keep her as safe as possible. Considering the way they had meet two years ago.

message 20: by Rose (new)

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara nodded, "are we... Are we both in the same bed?" She swallowed and noticed there was a white night gown on his bed. That was surely not for him. He didn't seem like the type to want to hold her until she falls asleep. She swallowed and looked down at her feet then back to him as he nodded, "my king I just... I wanted to say thank you," she whispered and saw the surprise in his eyes, "You are giving me a better life and I appreciate it. I will do all I can to be the kind of girl you want... I promise I will try my hardest, it is the least I can do since you have chosen me," she murmured softly then took the night gown and went to go bathe and slide into the silky gown. Once she was clean and ready she slid beneath the warm sheets, "goodnight my king," she whispered then faced away from him and went to bed.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments King Jackson hadn't expected Ara to thank him for taking her away from her stepfather and to thank him for giving her a better life. And to promise to be the kind of girl he wanted, he hadn't expected that after the way she had reacted to what he had told her and all the rules he had given her. But had simply nodded before watching her go to the bathroom to bathe and change into the gown he had set out of her. Going and climbing into the huge bed himself before she joined him shortly. Staying awake for some time thinking about everything an then finally falling asleep.

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Liam sighed and walked up to the king's office where he was awaiting his answers, "your highness," he bowed then straightened, "we interrogated him. He said she is about as pure as a girl can be. She stays in and reads all day, is quiet and takes orders from him. On somedays it takes some convincing but she complies. He has never touched her and no other man has either," he explained and looked up at him, "the bruise from last night came from him not the guards," he said, "now that we have all this what are we to do with a bastard like that my king?" He asked and waited an answer. He wondered how Ara was... He hoped that she would take kindly to Samantha. He also hoped Samantha was careful, the kings hated maids speaking to the royals. It took years of convincing to make him okay with Liam dating a maid.

Ara opened her eyes and blinked as someone had opened the blinds. She slowly sat up and gazed at a girl who was in the room with a tray of food, "I could have come down and made myself something," she murmured and blinked. She stood up and looked at herself, was she supposed to wear the night gown all day? When was she being fitted for a wedding dress? When would the king be back? What was she even allowed to do? What was the line? She sighed and shook her head, "thank you though," she murmured and began nibbling on the food, "what is your name?" She asked curiously.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments Jackson had woken early that morning having known that the Guards he had sent out to arrest and restrain the girl's father would be done by now with the questioning. Hearing that Ara was pure and that on some days it might take more to convenes her to do things. But he would handle that when those days arrived. Seeing as last night she had been willing to comply with him. "Good, I'm pleased to hear that she hasn't been tainted by another man. Thus far. ---- Lock him up. I will decide on what to do with him later. Seeing as he's caused her hurt and has abused her over the years. Seeing as at the end of the week if I so choose I can convent him for treason against the Queen. But until I make that decision, have him locked up." He told Liam looking at him as he did so.

Samantha woken around what she assumed to be 6 in the morning. And had gone down to make the soon- to- be Queen breakfast. Even though cooking wasn't really in her job discribsion she still knew how to cook so had done it herself. Before going up to the Kings room where she knew Ara would be staying. And sitting the tray of food on the nightstand beside the bed and then going about opening the blinds a bit to let the light in so that she could start picking up around the room. Looking up when she heard the girl move and sitting up, then telling her that she could of gone down and made herself something. "No, it's okay really... " She assured her knowing that The King would be displeased if he found Ara in the kitchen making herself anything. Not even wanting to think of what he would do.. Then going to answer her question on what her name was. "My name's Samantha... How are you doing this morning?" Any other time she would of added 'MLady' to that but Ara seemed like one that she would only be more confused if she did. And maybe even take it the wrong way. So she re framed herself from doing it.

message 24: by Rose (new)

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Liam nodded, "I am only curious your highness but um... How is she doing so far?" He asked softly, "um my girlfriend has asked me to tell you that the tailors have three dresses ready for her to try on for the wedding and they have stacked her wardrobe with daily dresses suitable for a queen," he smiled at him then bowed again as he went off to handle her stepfather then go find his lovely girl. He sighed and put the raging man in custody then walked off to shower and take a short nap so he would not be tired for the rest of the king's demands he was sure to give later today. Tonight would be the first night Ara would be having dinner with him. That is where most women were bound to screw up and make him angry. No one was prepared for that.

Ara nodded, "I am alright. Dazed and confused for sure... When will I be seeing him again? I'm honestly quite frightened of him, is that normal?" She asked softly and bit her lip. She was so scared to make one wrong move with this man. She has been hit in the past. She was going to run away when she turned 18 but now running was no longer an option for she would easily be found.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments ((I'll answer either tonight when I get home or tomorrow..))

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments King Jackson had bothered answering Liam's question on how the girl was doing. Just assuring him that she was starting to settle in but she was still learning how things were around here. But other than that she seemed fine. Before nodding to let him know that he appreciated him letting him know about the dresses. He'd inform her of the dresses that were in the closet along, with letting her know the she had three wedding dresses to pick from that that the seamstresses had made for her. Now all she had to do was try them on and pick her favorite out of the three of them. Then watching as he left the room, before walking out himself and down the hall to finish up the meeting he'd been in but had to leave for a short time.

Samantha looked up as she finished putting away some clothes that had been washed, and then set aside to let dry yesterday. Along with things that were scatted across the room. That belonged in the closet or on the tables scatted about in here. Once Ara replied, to her. "I'm glad to hear that you're doing better now. I'm sure you are, after being brought here in such a fashion... as for when you'll be seeing him again, I don't know. I only clean and do little things around here. So I don't know much of what The King does in his days. But I'm sure you'll see him sooner or later. If you'd like you could walk around the palace and explore some." Taking a moment to think on how to answer her question on rather or not being frightened of him was normal. Seeing as she came right out and said yes, and someone happened to over hear--- she might be punished for speaking against The King. Treading with caution. "It's----- not, uncommon to be. Some of the help here is slightly afraid of him as well."

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara sighed, "right... Thank you," she poked through some cabinets and found a light blue dress. She took it gently and then went to change. She nodded at the girl then slid out the door. She was slightly afraid she would do something wrong but she simply walked out and took a deep breath. Library. She needed a library. She wandered the halls and peaked her head in door to door. She froze when she heard the king's voice. She listened to him making the announcement that he would be married so he could now take more land to rule. She swallowed and snuck past the door then finally found the library. She liked to read, it calmed her down and right now, calm is exactly what she needed. She searched the shelves for an easy read then sat in the large chair and began reading the beautiful words. She didn't know she was sat in the king's chair... How could she possibly? Her eyes danced over the words and she smiled softly to herself as light entered through the huge window. She pictured herself in a palace where the handsome king asked her to join him and he was charming and kind. She could only imagine. That only happened in fairytales though. How Jackson acted was how most kings were in reality. She just ended up being the girl that met his physical requirements and caught his eye. She would never be anything to him but a toy and she knew that. Well... She had to learn to accept it.

Liam sighed and quietly went to the king's chambers. He shouldn't be there but he was. He needed to see Samantha and the girl, "goodmorning lovely," he murmured and kissed her slowly and softly then panicked, "w-where is the girl? She wasn't supposed to leave the room until he offered to show her around. Where is she?" Neither of them knew her well enough to know where she should go, "he is nearly finished with his meetings he will return soon," he panicked and started to pace, "go... Go to the maid's quarters. You were never here. I will not have him hold you accountable. Go," he said sternly but gently and got her out of the room and watched to make sure she got down the hall. He blew out of a breath and stepped out, shutting the door, "my king," he swallowed, "um she is still asleep... Perhaps we should let her some privacy?" He lied and avoided eye contact with his king.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments Jackson had ended the meeting and then had invited the few people that hadn't been in antecedence last night to stay while he made a quick announcement. Proclaiming that he'd be getting married come next week. Answering only a few of the questions that were thrown out but not all of them before dismissing the meeting. And heading out to roam the halls. Seeing as he wanted to take a walk to help his mind clear. He needed that before he went and found Ara and briefed her on the other things that he hadn't last night. Walking out of the door that lead to the royal garden. That's were he did his best thinking.

Samantha hadn't been told that the girl had to stay in the room until The King came back and offered to show her around. No one had told her, that. Even though the kisses had been nice--- until Liam had noticed that Ara wasn't in the room with her. Hustling her out and down the hall. Not wanting her to get in trouble for any of this. While she was more worried for Ara's safety than her own. Going down the hallway and down the long staircase until she reached the first floor again. Wondering the halls looking for the girl, hoping that she'd be able to find her and sneak her back to the room without being spotted. Peeking in each room as she passed.

Soon Jackson had gone back in after some long thinking on everything. Heading back to his rooms in order to invite The Girl to come with him so that he could show her around. Finding Liam at the door leading into his room. Lifting an eyebrow when Liam began to explain what was going on, although it seemed as if he wasn't telling the whole truth. Nodding slowly as he let his eyebrow fall back down into place. "Yes, I suppose so.... I'll come see if she's up in a little longer then."

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Liam blew out a breath now that he had bought at least a few more minutes then glared at a guard. A gurd who wanted his position more than anything, "wait! Your highness. The girl isn't even in the room... She left a while ago my king," he bowed and smirked at Liam before facing the king again, "my lord she even dressed herself then let herself out and wandered around the palace. I last saw her in the library," he said and mocked distress at the situation. The girl could have gotten away and Liam had just covered for her, "the last person in there was his girlfriend. I assure you he is simply covering for her my lord. Her and Ara since your fiancé has broken a rule." Rule number 5 was unless she had permission she couldn't just leave the room.

Ara read peacefully and sighed. She walked to the window and looked out. This side of the palace didn't over look the town. It overlooked the mountains and the forests. No one was allowed out there. There were other kingdoms and horrid creatures in there. If criminals were not executed, they were sent there to exile. She was curious though. How could something that looked so beautiful be so dangerous and cruel? She sighed... It sounded like the king. He was like those mountains and forests, beautiful but so cold and cruel.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments King Jackson had been about to leave to go in search for one of the decortaters. But turned back when he heard another pair of footsteps coming and then called to him to wait. Seeing that it was another guard. One that had been with him almost as long as Liam had. Listening as he went on to tell him that Ara had left the room and the last person to be in there was Liam's whore. Assessing the situation. If it was true, then Liam had just lied to him to save the girl and his whore. Looking between the two of them. And finally letting his eyes land back on the second guard that had come up as he had been about to leave. "If, your telling the truth. Take me to the library, and show me."

Samantha was practicaly running around looking for the girl, knowing that she only had a few moments left to find her, and somehow sneak her back up there if it wasn't too late already. She didn't know what King Jackson would do to her if he found out that she was the last one in there with the girl. And then if he ever found out that she had told her that it was okay to go exploring....... she'd be in a lot of trouble. Trouble that she doubted even Liam wouldn't be able to get her out of. What if The King had found out that he had lied? To give her more time? He would be in trouble too.... just not as much as she would be in because of his higher rank. The most he would get if King Jackson found out about the lie would be a couple days locked up. Her on the other hand---- she would get much worse. Panting as she came to a stop at the only other place she could think to look. The Library. Opening the door and seeing her looking out the window. Doing a quick bow even though she was looking out the window before running over to her to inform her quietly. "Ms. Ara..... I'm so sorry but I need to get you back to the room, right away. I'm going to sneak you up there without hopefully either of us being seen."

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments The guard nodded and walked with the king. Liam followed close behind and arched a brow. He frowned and looked around. The guard opened the library door and revealed the two girls. Ara looked as confused as one could be as she clutched her book and Samantha looked panicked and terrified. Liam glared at the stupid guard and hurried forward, "no... Your highness I was the last one to see her... I was. I asked Samantha to go look for her. No one gave Ara permission to leave. In fact everyone told her to stay put," he said calmly. He didn't care that Ara would get in trouble, he needed to get Samantha out of trouble. Liam also wanted to keep his job. Keeping his job was the most important thing to him. His family depended on the money he made and he needed to stay in the palace for Samantha. Plus he liked being the right hand man, "please forgive me for lying your highness. You know I have never done anything to displease or disrespect you and neither has Samantha. Please. Plus, Ara is new and curious. That is no one's fault but her own.

Ara frowned and trembled when the group walked into the library. Her brown eyes were wide and large as she looked down. She gently pulled away and walked back towards the king. She hadn't had known any better. She thought she was permitted to wander, especially to a place as innocent as the library. The guard who snitched walked up and grabbed her arm tightly and shook her, "what do we do to the rat?" Ara bit her lip. She normally wouldn't fake something but there was so much commotion and she remembered the king saying if any man touched her they'd be punished. She let out a whimper, it was fake but very convincing, "please you are hurting me," her voice cracked.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments To say that Jackson was happy about any of this... would be a complete and total lie. He was the most displeased he'd been in a long time. He trusted Liam but he had also lied to him. And the guard that had spoke against him and told him that she was in the library--- he wasn't too happy with him either, nor was he any happier with Liam's whore---- Samantha. Although he did have to say that Liam did have a point. They both hadn't said anything against him or disrespected him in anyway in the past. But they had both still broken the rules to one point or another. Snapping his head towards, Zachary which had asked just moments ago on what they should do with her and then had grabbed her. Snapping at him when she whimpered. "Let her go, or else you'll be spending a few nights in one of the cages." Looking back over at Liam and Samantha. Looking them both over for a long couple of minutes before finally making any kind of decision. "Fine. Now, get out of here before I change my mind."

Samantha had just about passed out when she had heard the footsteps hurrying down the hallway, before the doors to the library swinging open and The King along with two other Guards- one of which she had recognized as Liam right away-- walked in. Swallowing hard, when they had stopped. Giving Ara's hand a quick squeeze before backing away a few feet from her. Not daring to say anything. To afraid of what might happen if she did. Listening as Liam made up a story on what had really happened. Stopping herself from moving to help Ara when the other guard she didn't know grabbed her. Looking down as they talked, before doing a quick bow and hurrying from the room, once The King had made his decision an dismissed her along with Liam.

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara looked up at her king and met his eyes slowly, "I-I'm sorry. I did not know. No one told me," she whispered and her hands trembled, "I swear I was only looking for the library. This is all I was looking for her," she murmured and swallowed, looking at her feet, "I would still be honored if you would show me around," she murmured. She was so nervous. What if he punished her? Why would he though? She hadn't done anything but come and read a harmless book. Her eyes met his again "I truly am sorry. I know a king like you has much better things to do then handle a girl who doesn't listen but I promise you I had no idea I was supposed to stay put," her voice cracked when he got right close and personal to her. She held her breath and was forced to tilt her chin up to look at him as he towered over her.

Liam hugged Smantha tightly and kissed her deeply, "I was worried," he murmured and squeezed her, "avoid her for a few days. I know you want to help her but right now... Right now we need to stay off his radar and trying to make friends with his queen to be is a very bad idea," he murmured softly and kissed her softly again. He wrapped an arm around her then walked her to their room. He sat her down and changed her into a clean dress, out of her work clothes. His regular clothes weren't much better but he needed her to be in comfortable clothes. He knew she would want to be kind to the girl but he needed her to stay out of trouble. He needed to take care of her and he couldn't do that if she kept stepping into the spotlight.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments Jackson had sent Zachary on his way as well so that he could be alone and talk to Ara. Walking a foot closer to her each time she talked, until he was right in front of her. And she had to tilt her head back in order to look at him. Studying her for a moment. He did believe her. That she hadn't meant to break any rules and she didn't know that she wasn't suppose to wander around. "You're right, I do not have time to deal with a girl who doesn't know all the rules. But takes it upon herself to make her own without asking what they are. And that is why, we will go over the remaining one's tonight. Alone. And depending on rather or not how well you behave for the rest of today, I will make the decision on rather or not to punish you or not." He told her, moving a piece of hair off her neck and then running a finger down it. Before adding. "But I will still show you around."

Samantha let him undress and then redress her in some more comfortable clothes. Sitting down on the bed once she was, pulling him with her so that he could sit as well. "I didn't know she wasn't suppose to go wandering around alone.... No one told me before she arrived. I'll avoid her as often as I can for a couple days.. I'll ask someone else to clean in there for a few days." She told him still reeling from what had just happened, giving his hand a tight squeeze not wanting him to leave.

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara shivered at his touched. Was it bad she liked it though? He touched her so tenderly. She nodded slowly, "I'll behave. I promise," she murmured and then followed him, "I just needed to find a library. Books help me clear my head, I like getting lost in them," she murmured and smiled softly. Her smiled was beautiful and charming. An easy smile to fall for, "even the village library isn't as large as yours it's amazing," she beamed up at him. She was trying to let him get to know her... She was treating him like a guy she was generally trying to understand and she was trying to let him get to know her. She was being very genuine which is something a king rarely saw. Normally girls were never themselves in order to impress them, Ara was really trying to make this work which was a surprise, "sorry... Sometimes I talk too much. That's what my father tells me anyway. I just kind of get talking about something I enjoy and I get lost trying to make people see why I find it so amazing." She sighed, "so what about you? Is there anything you could get lost in talking about?" She looked him right in the eyes with her beautiful brown ones.

Liam shook his head, "I will handle everything, I will tell the king you have fallen ill. You will stay in here these next couple days alright?" He stroked her cheek, "everyone needs a break and I want to make sure you are being healthy my love," he kissed her softly and slowly and smiled at the pendant around her neck, "I'm glad you like it," he smiled and laid down so she could curl into his side, "I have night check tonight but I will be back in bed with you after an hour or so," he promised softly. Liam was an amazing man. Any girl would be lucky to have him. He was handsome and he put everything into Samantha. He put everything into her.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments Jackson was impressed that she didn't feel the need to fake who she really was around him. Most all of the girls he'd talked to shortly in the village had all flaunted over him. Pretend like they were something else when really they weren't. So her attitude seemed refreshing to him. And he actually found himself wanting to open up a little bit to her as she was doing with him. "No, it's okay.... I don't mind your talking." Taking a moment to actually consider her question. What did he like to talk about to the point he could get lost talking about it. Nothing really. But sometimes he'd sneak down to the kitchen after hours and cooked. It helped him deal with things he couldn't control. "Nothing, really---- but. I'll let you in on a secret . Sometimes, after everyone's gone to bed and no one's around to know where I am. I sneak down to the kitchen and cook. It helps release some stress. I can stay in there for hours and hours just cooking. Then when everyone gets up in the morning the chefs always wonder were all the food came from."

Samantha knew that would be safer than just trading cleaning spots with someone else. "Alright.. " She agreed, kissing him back softly. Smiling when she saw his eye catch the pendant that he'd left for her that she had hung around her neck today. "I love it, thank you." Curling into his side like she did every night. "Okay, you want me to wait up until you get back?" She asked as she rested her head on his chest.

Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara smiled, "that's interesting," she smiled at him, "Cooking is fun... Not that I'm allowed to do it anymore but that's alright," she blushed and looked away. She hoped he didn't take that as her being ungrateful. She swallowed and sighed softly then looked at the rooms. She nodded along as he toured her around, "so um what will the wedding be like?" She asked and looked up at him, "I've never been to one before and I definitely have never been to a palace before," she ran her hands over the marble walk. She paused, "I'm just curious is all. Either way I will be happy I'm just... Curious," she said softly. She was trying to recall all the rules so she didn't say something stupid, "oh um perhaps could you go through the rest of the rules before you explain the wedding thing? I just don't want to cause you anymore anger," she sighed softly. Ara was happy to be away from her past situation... She would never be able to repay him for taking her away from her father but this was just as scary. Even more scary. She did not want to end up on the bad side of a king. Especially a king that every other kingdom feared. By far Jackson was the most powerful king around. That was scary, also she was still confused as to why he chose her. What made her so special? There were plenty other girls far more beautiful than herself. Ara was beautiful but she wasn't flashy, she was just natural and subtle. The kind of girl that rarely stood out, but apparently she did to this man.

Liam smiled and kissed her, "no darling, you can head to bed. I'll sneak something from the kitchen and bring you dessert." He stroked her hair gently then walked out and locked the door behind him. He strode outside and walked around the grounds. He was very confused, he felt like someone was watching him. He slowly drew his sword and turned. A man lunged at him and he easily pinned him. The man glared, "her father promised her to me! She is MINE!" He screamed, "King or not I paid," he snapped angrily. Liam glared, the guy bought her? Oh he could not wait to get the bastard in deep trouble with his king. That would be all too easy with Jackson's temper and his possessiveness over his property, Ara was now his property and this guy was saying he bought her like some whore. He deserved whatever the king had to give. Plus her father would get in trouble for selling his daughter to some sleaze bag. He dragged him inside and forced him to his knees in the throne room and told a guard to get the king and his soon to be queen.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 14106 comments Jackson nodded, beganing to go over the last few remaining rules. "Very well. We'll do that first and then--- we'll swing by and see how it's coming along with the decorating." Seeing as it would be easier to show her what the wedding would look like then try and explain it to her. But he guessed he could explain a little bit of what the past weddings had been like. "Rule five: Don't leave the room unless given permission by me. If you wake after me, and I'm already gone I will have left you a note on rather you are allowed that day or not. If you wake before me wait until I'm awake and then ask. If I forget to leave a note I will have told the guard stationed outside in the hallway. Rule six: If you wish at any time start to learn something new and only one of the staff around here can teach you that, I will look into it. And then decide on rather or not you can do it. That's all of them." He said studying her yet again. Not looking to deep into anything else she'd said.

Samantha nodded, kissing him again before he left for his shift. It wouldn't take long but she'd be asleep by the time he returned. So she wouldn't get to see him again until the morning. Watching as the door shut and then rolling over onto his side of the bed so that she could smell his sent and feel the warmth his body had left.

Her eyes watered immediately as she tried to hold back tears, "p-please. Please don't make me face him please my king," she pleaded him and her entire body trembled. She turned into a mess. She was shaking and she was holding back tears that were spilling over. She knew the man. He had tried to take her innocence one night but a guard had saved her. Then her father sold her so he could make easy money. She was meant to leave the village with him when she turned 18 which is why she was going to run away right when she turned of age, "please my king I will tell you anything I will do anything just don't let me in the same room as him please," she got on her knees and pleaded him. She was so desperate to never face that man again.

Liam watched from where he stood and frowned. He looked at another guard, "go get Samantha... Tell her she needs to get Ara into bed for the king tonight," he instructed. He figured the king would request a maid to take her to bed anyway so he worked ahead of him, plus Samantha had wanted to care for the girl and get her settled. She was the best for this job.

"I'm not going to make you go in... Someone's going to get a maid to escort you back to our room for the night." He told her not quit sure why she was so worried and freaked out about this man and why she didn't want to face him. But he would let her go back to there room. Let her get settled in, relax. Rose (allthefandom) | 3978 comments Ara swallowed and looked up at Samantha as she was brought down. Ara curled up into her and walked with her into the library. She wiped her brown eyes and took out a book then followed her back to the room. She let her help her into a nightgown then laid in bed. She sniffled and still trembled as she read the book. She looked up at the maid, "S-samantha right?" She whispered nervously and swallowed. When she nodded she swallowed thickly, "I was sold to him," she explained nervously, "he tried to rape me," she murmured and pulled the silky covers up further. That was all she said before she fell asleep, clutching a half open book. Even in her sleep she trembled. She was so shaken up and terrified of that man. Every time she saw him she thought about that day and wanted to scream. She had been a village girl, had he raped her no one would have cared. She was poor and worthless. Many had heard her screaming but only one guard came for her.

Liam looked up and bowed his head, "he said you have something that belongs to him," he said and looked at the man. Liam had saved her that night. This guy was about to get what he deserved, "your highness he bought her from her father after attempted rape on her one night. I witnessed him trying to steal her innocence. I saved her from it." The man snarled, "I bought her. I don't care how kingly you are I bought her and you stole my property!" He yelled angrily. Liam looked up at the king, oh he was angry. He just called something of the king's property his own. Yikes this guy was not helping himself.

Wondering how she had manged to get away, had someone come to her aid when she had cried out or had she somehow manged to fight him off all on her own? If it hadn't been for Liam coming to her aid two years ago, the man would of gotten away with it. She wouldn't be worth anything to anyone anymore. Not that she had that much to offer to began with. But Liam and her somehow made it through together. Walking over and gently removing the half-opened book from her hands. And sitting it aside on the bedside table, and covering her up more before slowly walking out of the room so that she could go back to the room that she shared with Liam.

Jackson walked into the thrown room once he had assured that Ara was in good hands and that she'd make it back to their room safely. Going and taking his seat on the thrown and then addressing the man in front of him once Liam had told him what had happened. And how he had witnessed him almost taking his soon to be wife's innocence's. Before he yelled that he'd bought her and it didn't matter who he was because she belonged to him. Staring at him with an evil look. "I don't care, what you have to say for yourself. You and her father both did one or more things illegal . And I don't care who you think you are, or what you think she is to you. Because in a few short days she will become my wife.... but you wont be around to see that. Because as far as I'm considered you will be put to death in the morning."

He never told her when there was an execution. He preferred she not think of such things. He stroked her hair and sat down with a sigh, "I saved her that night," he murmured quietly, "I would have made sure she was okay but she had run off before I could even ask her anything," he sighed, "now I know what became of her," he said and shook his head, "it was odd... The king wasn't defending his property... He was defending the girl. As if he truly likes her," he pondered and shrugged his broad shoulders as he thought harder about it. Could the king be truly falling for this girl? He shook his head, it couldn't be.

Ara gazed up when the king entered, "I an sorry I made such a scene," she whispered, "he just terrifies me is all," she murmured, "I was... I was planning on fleeing the kingdom when I turned 18 before he came for me," she murmured and looked down at her feet, "I know... Tracing little patterns across his chest as he talked. "I'm sure she was thankful for you saving her. Even if she didn't stick around to say so. Seeing as she had to be worried and scared, of the whole ordeal...." She said considering the other part of it. Seeing as The King tended to defend his property even if that property was a person. He didn't do it as if he cared for anyone. Giving it much thought before saying anything. "Maybe she is changing him... and he just doesn't realize that she is. After all, we did basically lie to him, and he believed you over the other guard that was there in the library with us even though you both started months apart. And I'm sure he knew who was telling the truth and who wasn't."

Jackson had decided the man's punishment almost the second he had seen how badly The girl had reacted to seeing him kneeling on the floor of the thrown room. But had not acted upon it until he had seen the man himself and he had accused him of stealing his property. That had been the final strike. He would die in the morning. And that would be that. Walking into their room a while later to find her still awake which had surprised him. He would of thought after how badly she had acted and how upset she had been she would of gone to sleep right away. Going over and sitting on his side of the huge bed. Slipping out of his shoes and then going into the closet to change into his night clothes. Before coming out and climbing under the sheets with her. Finally answering her. "I know. I wouldn't of allowed you to stay in there with me, once I heard what had happened. You would of been escorted out and would of came here either way." Not bothering to say anything about her running away once she had turned 18.

If he cares about her, really cares think of how he will react if people get a little too close. If he falls in love she will be like his diamond that is kept away from everyone and everything," he said and smiled. He sighed and kissed her head, "thank you for coming so quickly love," he said and stroked her hair, "I will take you outside the palace gates tomorrow for the saturday market in the village. The king is planning on spending the day with the girl which is very out of the ordinary but that was what he told me, but I will have the day off and I asked a maid to take your shifts," he said and smiled. He was a charming man, any maid would fall over themselves to please him. He chose Samantha though and he woukdn't change that for the entire world. He cared about her far too much to ever be away from her. He kissed her softly again and stretched out, "early tomorrow morning you are not to leave this room though," he did not want her seeing the execution of the two men."

Ara nodded and sighed softly. She gazed up at the king, "thank you. If you don't mind me saying, many have talked about you. It's always in a fearful way," her hand carefully and cautiously reached up and stroked his cheek. To him it would feel like air her touch was so careful and soft, "I think you are a great king. Maybe you can be daunting but you have done things for your kingdom that no other king from other kingdoms has. Along with what you have done for me... You are a fantastic king my lord," she murmured and took her hand away then faced away from him and drifted off to sleep. She was still scared of breaking rules and angering him, but he was a good king and she could tell, if even the slightest bit, part of him seemed to really care for her.

Why he had us stop in there I have no idea, but she did take a book.--- that is odd. Who knows? Maybe it'll be good for him to get away, from the usual work he does." She said hoping that everything worked out for Ara. Then looked back up as she continued tracing patterns on him., when he told her he had the day off. He didn't get very many so when he had a rare day off they spent them together. Smiling when he told her that he'd already had someone to cover her shifts tomorrow. "Mmm, I don't think I'd want to leave that early in the morning if you have the day off, and I do as well."

Jackson sat up for quite some time, after that and pondered her words. It was a known fact that many people feared him. And disliked his reign over the kingdom. But here she was, after the long day she'd been through and the horrible reaction she had, had to the man in the thrown room waiting for his punishment just a few hours before. Saying that she thought he was a great King. And that he'd done so many things for the Kingdom that other kings had not. And how she appercated what he had done for her. Thinking that it would be quit interesting. The day tomorrow. Seeing as he had cleared everything and had given Liam the day off just so he could spend it with the girl. Finally laying down to go to sleep.

It was in sight of the village because the king liked to make an example of criminals. He set them both up to a guillotine and waited for his king's cue. Minutes later it was over. Liam watched as men came to clean the mess. He bowed to his king and then went to wash up and head back to Samantha. He was dressed and ready for their day in the market. He smiled and kissed her awake, "get dressed my love, we need to get going if we want to spend the day at the market," he smiled and rubbed her back then once she was ready he led her out of the gates and into the village. Stands were set up and the village was alive with people. He was glad he was not a king and he was very happy Samantha was not a queen. Many people know to take the queen and hold a ransom. It is always done which means the king must be constantly watching his queen. There is always a chance something could happen.

Ara was put in a red dress. It was the king's favorite color. She bit her lip and combed out her curly hair. She looked beautiful. Maids slid shoes on her then quickly left. Ara awaited the king and curtseyed when he walked in, "good morning my king." She murmured and watched his eyes roam her beautiful body. She bit her lip. "What will we be doing today? The only thing I have been told is that you have cleared your schedule to be with me," she murmured. Her heart melted at the thought of him wanting to get to know her. Maybe this could be a perfect fairytale. She really hoped it could be, she hadn't planned on it but after how he had protected and opened up to her yesterday, she was beginning to fall for him.

To get up, and ready for their day. Lazily kissing him back as she woke and then went to get dressed. After that they had headed into town right away, only grabbing a little something for breakfast. Smiling at everything that was going on. It was one of the busier days in the village. Looking around as they walked, but still manged to caught a glimpse of Liam's face, as they did. Wondering what he was thinking.

Jackson had woken early and had let the girl sleep. Seeing as soon the maids would be coming in to help her get ready for there day. But he had wanted to run and do something real fast before they started there day together. Walking back into their room once he had been informed by one of the maids that she was ready. Stopping once the door was shut and letting his eyes wander over her. They had dressed her in red, like he had asked them to do. And she suited the color quit nicely. Some women couldn't pull off the color. They were either too fair or too dark to do so. But she did perfectly. "Good Morning.... I assume you have not had breakfast yet?" He knew she hadn't, seeing as he had planned it so that they would have it together before going about there day.

He smiled at Samantha and let her go to go mingle and fill her basket with things he would buy later. He kept his eyes on her as he spoke to his friends but frowned, "how did you hear about the girl?" He asked immediately. The king had wanted his marriage to Ara be a secret until they said i do. It left her vulnerable if others found out about her, "you should not know that. You mustn't tell anyone," he said firmly. The man look at his friend, "Liam the news has carried. Half the village is aware he has a bride," he murmured. Liam knew the king would have a field day with this and punish everyone in the village until he found out who spread this about. Liam nodded and walked behind Sam, wrapping an arm around her, "everyone knows," he murmured in her ear quietly, "I will need to tell the king tomorrow morning." He did not want to be the one breaking the news the day before the wedding.

Ara shook her head, "no, I haven't," she murmured softly and took his arm. She sat at the large table and smiled softly as things were delivered, "I have never had a meal this large," she murmured softly and looked up at him with wide eyes. What she was having was standard meal size for a human but her father had only given her scraps of what he ate. She swallowed and gazed at the king's eyes as they studied her, "look, I understand today is about you getting to know me but there is nothing to know your highness," she murmured, "I am nothing special sir," she murmured.
