It's time for a celebration!! Next week marks 26 weeks of 2016. That means we are halfway through the 52 Book Pickup! Woo hoo!! So next week, we're going to have a party. There will be daily book trivia, special threads, and fun daily mini-challenges (don't worry- we won't ask you to read an entire book a day). Come join us as we celebrate the halfway point of our challenge. Invite your friends! The more the merrier.

We look forward to celebrating with you all next week! :D

In the meantime... what is everyone reading this week?

I'm working on books 51 and 52 this week -
Never Never by Brianna Shrum Never Never

AND

Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1) by Beth Revis Across the Universe

I'm about halfway done with both and hopefully I will finish them by we 26 - as my personal goal is 100 and this would give me a little cushion for the next six months.

Ann (ann-fracturedfiction) | 450 comments I am working on books 61, 62, and 63 this week.
Storm Glass (Glass, #1) by Maria V. Snyder Storm Glass
The Sandman Overture by Neil Gaiman Sandman: Overture
and
The View from the Cheap Seats Selected Nonfiction by Neil Gaiman The View from the Cheap Seats.
My personal goal is 150, so I should be good. :)

Julie | 130 comments Wow, ya'll are quite impressive readers!

I've fallen a little behind the last couple of weeks, but I have several books in progress that should help propel me along if I can get them finished. I'm only two books behind though.

I just started A Man Called Ove today at my husband's suggestion.
Otherwise I've been working through the Locke & Key graphic novel set, which has been awesome!
A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman Locke & Key Slipcase Set by Joe Hill

Nathan (nmillerche) | 27 comments That's some motivated reading! Nice, all!

I'm treading water, currently working on book 26:
4577785 Fodor's Hawaii 2009 (Full-Color Gold Guides)

and book 27:
Algorithms to Live By: The Computer Science of Human Decisions

Keeping just ahead of the weekly wave. :-)

I hit 52 on Thursday - so I have a little cushion for hitting 100 in the last 26 weeks

I finished Across the Universe

but book 51 wasn't Never Never - it was

Please Don't Feed the Daisy Living, Loving, and Losing Weight with the World's Hungriest Dog by Beverly West

Chris Francis (snowtiger64) | 45 comments I think I'm right around 30 or so, after discounting several graphic novels and comic volumes. I just started a tongue-in-cheek sci-fi novel called 'Hard Luck Hank.' I kind of picture Hank as a cross between Nathan Fillion and Patrick Warburton, being the "Price Line Negotiator" for the seedy mob controlled underworld.
