Dyrk Ashton (undyrk) | 14 comments Greetings Librarians! The cover to my book Paternus has been updated to include a blurb from a bestselling author. This is not a new edition, only a blurb added to the cover.

Can you please use the cover from the paperback edition on Amazon to replace the covers for all existing formats of the book on GR?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

All the best,

Paula (paulaan) | 7029 comments GR does not change covers on published books, alternate cover editions are added.

See here for further information

Use the instructions in msg 4 of the link above to set the default edition

Alternate Cover editions added

Also reviews are not permitted in the description

Dyrk Ashton (undyrk) | 14 comments Thank you Paula! Understood.

I see on the new editions that you added there are no ASIN or ISBN numbers - do I need to add those to the new editions, or does that not matter?

Was just going to go remove the reviews, but I see you already have, thank you. I also see you removed the genre and market notes at the end - are those not allowed either?

Thanks again,

Paula (paulaan) | 7029 comments GR only allows ASIN/ISBN to be used once. Policy is to leave those with the first editions on GR and add the information to the description field on alternate cover editions hence the note at the top of the description on the alternate cover editions.

Genres note added back in, links to website are also not permitted in the description either
