Melanti | 761 comments Is it legit to merge a cover that's shown at an angle to a cover that appears to be identical but is straight on?

If it matters, it appears that the cover at an angle came from an amazon import - so probably a re-seller of some sort. It wasn't added by anyone on GR.

The snow is slightly yellower in the angled shot - but that could be anything from lighting to age.

I notice that they also have different publishers.

The one with the ISBN Amazon says is a paperback.

Then it seems likely that the one with the ISBN (straight on cover) should have a different cover, since the Pocket book edition has an entirely different cover, number pages, pub. date.

Looking at the librarian log, it looks like in 2010, someone changed some of the data to match the first edition and uploaded the first edition cover.
