Diloshb | 1 comments In the first book we are told that Tengo is somewhat of an insomniac and can't fall asleep easily. He often complains that he gets late phone calls from Komatsu because he can't sleep. In the 2nd book, when Fuka-Eri is in his house he says that he'll take the couch because he has the talent to sleep anywhere instantly. I'm still reading the book. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this. This is bothering me.

Magdelanye | 2 comments my take, for what its worth, is that Tengo generally has no trouble falling asleep, he's not fussy, but he goes through insomniac cycles. Wish I had the book in front of me, I love it and long fot a sequel

Whitney | 18 comments I found the relevant quote in the book: "Tengo normally went to bed at ten o’clock and woke at six, maintaining a generally regular lifestyle. He was a deep sleeper. Once something woke him, though, it was hard for him to get to sleep again."
