Heidi Angell (heidiangell) | 129 comments What about a female protagonist who is "on the right side" but is kind of scary? Fury from The Hunters comes in and saves the humans whose town has been infested by vampires, but she isn't really "good" perse. I love her, because she is hardcore and tough, but she is very rigid in her thinking and her goals. From the vampire's perspective, she is definitely not the good guy!

Also, Victoria from Dark One: Preview is a pretty awesome character. She isn't the main protagonist, and at first you think she is a baddie, but even when she is on the right side, she does some pretty questionable stuff. Love her, though!

I also really enjoyed Winter Smith from Winter Smith: London's Burning She isn't really good or bad, just a girl trying to survive the apocalypse.
