I just want to see her be confident, although a bit hard considering the nightmare she lived through...just wish Tamlin would really see her and what she needs. (hide spoiler)]

It really bugs me. (view spoiler)[And the High Lord but no High Lady thing is just ridiculous. Tamlin never for a seconds believes Feyre is equal to him. If he says she should stay locked up because he loves her and wants her safe, shouldn't that apply to him as well? Feyre loves him too, it's not like she wants to see him die. (hide spoiler)]

Hmm.. (view spoiler)[two-way street I'd say. Feyre has no real idea what he's dealing with either. And neither of them make the effort to get over themselves and talk to the other about it. She had more of a spine in the first book, and it's coming out again now with Rhys, so I'm a little surprised that she doesn't open up to Tamlin more. But then, she always had a tendency to suffer in silence and paint herself as a kind of martyr for all she has suffered. Sucks big time to have gone through all of that! (hide spoiler)]

I like the way Maas wove in hints of what happened at the end of the last book in the start of this one. I didn't remember it all clearly, so it's nice to be reminded in this kind of way without having to actually read a sort of summary at the start of the book.

Yep, (view spoiler)[definitely agreeing on that. Kings and queens usually rule together and are (at least in principle) equal to each other, so why not have a High Lord and a High Lady? As for the protecting bit, I think I read too many books with shapeshifter alphas because it doesn't strike me at all that shitty, even if it is annoying. (hide spoiler)]

I'm having mixed feeling about Tamlin, he pissed me off at the beginning of the book, but now that he isn't in these past chapters, I'm feeling bad for him not knowing what's going on with Feyre...he has some demons to get over as well.... (hide spoiler)]

Completely agree with everything, (view spoiler)[doesn't anyone think it's weird Tamlin hasn't tried to contact Feyre or kill Rhysand? I'm really liking how Feyre is becoming more confident and powerful by each chapter.

I really like Lucien, I can't believe Ianthe came onto him like that!

I love every one of the inner circle. They're so interesting! Much better than Tamlin and his spring court. I'm kind of hoping for a romance between Azriel and Cassian, but I'm guessing there's something going on between Az and Mor. (hide spoiler)]

I'm feeling a little ragged about Lucien though...I really want him to be strong and support. I just want him to do the right things. I have hope for him still.
