Francina Simone (francinasimone) | 9 comments Hi, First I want to say thank you for looking at this. There seem to be a thousand and one post on this sort of thing (*_*)

I am re-releasing my book with a new ebook and print(first time in print) cover. I am having a fun contest and will be using this image for the cover on all platforms: http://66.media.tumblr.com/f729389860...

Until the new cover is released. Can I have the others taken down so there is not confusion? Or can they be added as "other images and not the main cover?" The edition will still be the same, as I'm not changing the ISBN. or the material.

Here is the link to my book on good reads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Arenda | 20004 comments Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have.
Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition.
See http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
and http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/85....

Also, the additional photo section of the book page is not for covers. I've removed both covers that were added there and made them into alternate cover editions.

I've created an alternate cover edition with the placeholder cover: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
When the actual cover is revealed, you have to ask in the Librarians Group to have the placeholder replaced with the actual cover. (I've left a note on the book that the question mark cover is a placeholder cover until the reveal.)

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile.
How to set the default edition.
