Well, I apologize for being on unexpected hiatus. Lots of stuff going on. And I completely missed setting up a May-June book of the month.

But thanks so much to co-mod Natalie for keeping the GNotM going!

Anyway - let's take nominations for any non-fiction book about comics or superheroes (since we've already done 2 novels this year) for July and August. Anything you're dying to read? There's lots of stuff out there.

Phil I started reading Bending steel recently. Not too far into it, but it seems like a decent history of superhero comics.

That's a good choice! I have it on my Kindle, having requested it from NetGalley, and I haven't gotten to it yet! :)

BTW, I'll close nominations in one week.

So, our choice is Bending Steel!

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) I read that one last year so won't be re-reading it, but look forward to everyone's thoughts.

Phil It took me a while to finish this book. It was a little dry, and I kept getting distracted by other things to read. I thought it was a great history on comic books/superheroes. I don't really have anything to compare it to at this point though.
