Enjoyed/enjoying both books. I'm enjoying Beauty Queens more then I did None of the Above. Beauty Queens is really funny and surprisingly though provoking.

Did you like the Half Life Trilogy? I know a lot of people (including me) are very bitter about the ending of book three.

message 9: by Paget (new)

Paget | 118 comments I had some trouble with the internet. So I was not able to update.

I had a really got start into the week with Maurice after that I started Will Grayson, Will Grayson but I didn't really enjoyed it. So I read The Night Circus instead. And after that I read The Girl in the Spider's Web.

I also read two comics that didn't have anything to do with the theme, The Umbrella Academy, Vol.1: The Apocalypse Suite and The Umbrella Academy, Vol. 2: Dallas, which were fine but not super good.

But yes I loved the book and thought what happened probably would. Spent the whole time wishing I was wrong, but yet was still like NNNOOOOO!!!! Like I couldn't see what was coming. Im hoping for a sequel one day...hopefully. I mean I have a few ideas on how it can be fixed believe me!!! #LetMeHaveMyHope Lol

Maybe someone wrote some FanFiction. That usually helps when the ending didnt go the way it should!!! #BuriesHeadInFanFictionWorld

Thanks! I liked both...
Simon vs. was a bit on the stereo typic gay guy needs to be in the School theatre/musikal thing, and I kinda dislike that. (I really didn't like Will Grayson, Will Grayson).
Two Boys Kissing started out a bit slow for me, but it was really good!

message 27: by Haeeun (new)

Haeeun | 2 comments I haven't been able to read any since my final papers are due in 2 weeks :( aaaaaggghhh I can't wait till they're over so i can finally read again!!!!!! been binge watching booktubes instead.
Saw all the videos of 'readbyzoe' and am currently watching all of 'bookables'. LUV them both and booktubes in general. I'd go mad if I didn't have at least something book-related to sustain me through the next 2 weeks. Hope everyone's having a great time reading!

I liked [book:The Night Circus
. The setting was amazing but it was a bit slow for me. I think I was more in the mood for some action.

Lilia | 12 comments I only read Every Day which was really good, but I'm trying to catch up on other books in reading

message 30: by Fallon (new)

Fallon (uneprincesseecriture) | 13 comments I keep forgetting to post in these discussions whenever I participate.. Even though I blog every time I do these and am active other places. Oops. This readathon, I intended to get to bitch planet, empress of the world, south of sunshine, happy accidents, and everybody's got something. I started 2 books and finished none due to a severe migraine. Hopefully, next month will be better! Got to page 64 in Empress of the World and Chapter 2 in South of Sunshine. Loving them both!
