What else am I reading this summer? Or what do I Hope to read? I always have a long list and rarely get through everything I want to read. But here's what I'm intending to read. :-)
The Silkworm by "Robert Galbraith"
My Struggle (1, 2 and 3) by Karl Ove Knausgaard
Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King
Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage by Haruki Murakami
The Magician's Land by Lev Grossman

Pjh | 9 comments I think it would be impossible to read everything we wanted to.

So far this summer there's:
-Neil Gaiman's Stardust
-Ransom Rigg's The Hollow City
-Steinbeck's Cannery Row

I'm waiting for my number to come up at the library for Goldfinch and Silkworm. In the meantime I hope to read:
-the new Doerr
-Ivan Doig's Mountain Time
-Lisa See's Snowflower and the Secret Fan.

I might also try to read Steinbeck's version of Mallory's King Arthur. (There seemed to be so much "Arthur" in Cannery Row.)
