Anthony Deeney | 437 comments Hi all. I thought I should share this.

My book, "Robots Like Blue," just won the Mervyn Peake Award 2016 (book category)!

This is UK award celebrating the artistic works of Parkinson's sufferers.

Exhibition to take place in July.

Jane Jago | 888 comments Congratulations don't seem like a big enough word.

But there ain't another.

So congratulations multiplied by several.

Parkinson's is bad shit and my respect knows no bounds.

Anthony Deeney | 437 comments Ha! Thanks everyone. I am chuffed and all you people are great.

Of course, limiting the field to Parkies like me knocks out about 97% of the competition!

:)

Thanks Jane, it sure sucks and the prognosis is not good, but the drugs sure help and there is promising research. My wife's a great support. I am happy!

AND I get to enter an exclusive competition where all your good books are held out, so I can win!
;P

(Yes, that merits two -- 2! -- exclamation points.)
