Hello all!

Starting discussions for August BOTM suggestions early so we can all vote first thing in July, giving everyone time to get books/e-books if they want to read along!

For the Modern Classics/Popular books category, the book(s) that got seconds but weren't in July polls were:
Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
These will automatically be included in the August BOTM poll.

Thanks, and happy reading!
Kasey

Jennifer Mehl (mrsmehl) | 1 comments It might be interesting to piggy back on the suggestions of A Brave New World and go with Handmaids Tale. Lots of room to compare.

I'll second A Man Called Ove and The Book Thief is a must read. How about The Nest? Or The Great Gatsby? Or We?!?! So many great books.
