Mars gets a last minute reprieve because someone else confesses to the crime. Were you suspect of that confession? Have any early speculation as to what was going on?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1379 comments I was suspicious of that late confession, and I really was concerned that Mars might have been guilty and set free. I had no idea of the depth of the case at this point.

Like Decker I felt that Mars was innocent....but I was suspicious of this man confessing to this crime at this time. Yet, he is dying soon so at the same time it could be true. It was more how what he knew and what happened after that made me sure Montgomery was lying.

I just knew there had to be more to the story. More importantly, I immediately questioned Montgomery's motives.

Mary Beth | 193 comments I thought that Mars might of done it and that the man was a relative that was dying, and set Mars free.

I was surprised to see what was really going on.
