We will be reading books set in Iraq, the Burgundy region of France, and the historical county of Westmorland in the UK . Here are our group lists to get you started:

Burgundy Region of France: (please scroll all the way down to the "Books Set in Burgundy" heading)

UK County of Westmorland: (please scroll all the way down to the "Books Set in County Westmorland" heading)

Books do not need to be present on these lists to be nominated. Authors, please do not nominate your own books.

rebel (followtheriver) | 65 comments Wow, there are so many good books from Iraq to choose from, it was hard to make up my mind! I kept coming back to one because of its intriguing title though:

Iraq: Diary of a Wave Outside the Sea by Dunya Mikhail

Elise F (elise_literaryhabitat) Iraq - Redeployment by Phil Klay - it says its set in Iraq and Afghanistan, not sure how much is set in Iraq, so ignore if you think it doesn't qualify!
Burgundy - Claudine's House by Colette
Westmorland - Katherine the Queen: The Remarkable Life of Katherine Parr by Linda Porter
