How about Rise to Rebellion? I've never read historical fiction. And its around 4th of July.

Suzanne (suzannekm) | 76 comments I like historical fiction. This sounds interesting.

Del (goodreadscomdel_smith) | 32 comments OK by me, though July is complicated. I'm involved in planning/preparation for the "Summer" at Trust Women and have surgery on the 19th. Son will be here from July 18th-August 3rd. I may not get it read.

Suzanne (suzannekm) | 76 comments Yes, attend to the very important "complications "! What a month!

Del (goodreadscomdel_smith) | 32 comments Thanks, Suzanne. I've just started the Oliver Sacks book. Have you read Jill Bolte Taylor's "My Stroke of Insight"? She's a neuroanatomist who had a massive left hemisphere stroke. It's been a long time, but I suspect I'll re-read it the near future.
