I just read the description on this book's page -- taken from Amazon -- and it is wildly wrong. It's the memoir of a woman whose mother was murdered, but it says here that learning her mom was murdered makes the author recover repressed memories, which is absolutely not true. She was searching for her mom the whole time and never repressed anything. And the justice system was pretty caring and effective, not apathetic at all. How can this be cleared up?

Fishface | 2742 comments That would be great!

"This is the memoir of a woman whose mother, a former schoolteacher disabled by mental illness, disappeared one day -- and was eventually found murdered. The author takes us through the process of finding justice for her mother, but also describes what it is like to see a parent gradually succumb to mental illness, describing her own struggle to understand what her mother is going through and why, and what it was like to lose that fight when her mother walked away from her life forever."

Would that do?
