Pj As of right now it is still not officially confirmed whether Ascendant, the fourth and final Divergent movie, is still happening, but if The Divergent Series: Allegiant sells well on Home Media, then it will help support Ascendant happening. They are so close to the finish line with only the resolving conclusion left to go; they cannot just leave the movie series at this point without it.

With them cutting Ascendant's budget down, they will be able to return to the same kind of effort and essence that they had with the first Divergent movie, as well as the kind of effort and essence that was put into The Maze Runner movies, all of which were made with a similar kind of lower budget. The lower the budget means that they will be able to focus more on the script and overall content that they are trying to portray, rather than overdoing it with an abundance of CGI and other stylized effects.

The release dates for Allegiant on 4K Blu ray/Blu ray/DVD are as follows:

July 12 2016 - North America
July 13 2016 - France
July 27 2016 - Australia

It will also be released on OnDemand and Digital HD Media on June 21 2016 in North America

Any country or continent not listed here should have their Home Media formats of the movie released at around the same time or fairly close to/not much farther from those listed.

Monica this is a series that should have never been made into the movie. the first book she was able to beautifully develop her characters such as relationships, friendships, detailed personalities that was important to the overall story which wasnt a strong story to begin with but was saved by one enjoying the character development. the movie wasnt able to do this so for a person who didnt read the book u never got the connections between the characters in a story that needed it. i believe this series like pretty little liars, game of thrones would have a made a better tv show or miniseries. so im not surprise it struggled.

Alma I know the last book wasn't perfect. There was too much information, but I do believe is an ending that not many authors risk to write. I loved the ending even when it was heartbreaking for the following reasons:
We once more get proof of, not only Tris' courage, but the kindness and love that she has for her family by taking Caleb's place.
We get to see how hate, jealousy and power blinded David.
We are reminded that Christina is such a great character and chooses to see the bright side even after losing so many loved ones.
Reading about Four on the zip line throwing Tris' ashes was so sad, but yet beautiful and unique. It became one of my favorite scenes from all the books I've read.

I was hoping to see Allegiant's ending in theaters, but I am so sad it won't happen :( I can't believe that Fifty Shades of Gray made enough money to finish the saga, and Allegiant didn't :/

Shravani I'm just hoping that they return...

Niti I feel like the first movie was great, but then the films after it became worse and worse. You should just read the books instead.

Giulia Personally knowing what I know now I would have just read the first book and watched the first movie!
