The Adventures of Nanny Piggins by R.A. Spratt The Adventures of Nanny Piggins
My two youngest were eager to procure this book. I thought it was just another book that all others were reading and they would buy it and it leave it on the shelf. I was mistaken they are now keen to head to the library and see if they can borrow the other books in the series. Do you know what they hype is all about?
Do you pre-read books before your children read them to ensure age appropriate etc? I wonder how librarians at schools choose books for their libraries? Do you remember the hooha when HP came out and Catholic schools initially banned it?
Interested to hear your thoughts...
