Rebecca | 16 comments In the excellent PBS series “Call the Midwife,” there’s an episode about sister and brother, Peggy and Frank. It’s season 1, episode 5, “We Are Family." After Frank dies, Peggy sits beside him in bed and reads from a book. It’s a short passage about a character named Rose. In it, she seems to be expressing despair and says something like “I can’t go on." I don’t recall any of the specific words, although I know that it’s written from third-person perspective.

That’s all I have. Any idea what book Peggy reads from?

Rebecca | 16 comments I really thought I looked at that very page. I either missed it or it wasn’t there earlier today.

Thanks again.
