Kelly I read In the Unlikely Event by Judy Blume. This was a very educational historical fiction book for me. It was set in 1951-52, and was about three plane crashes that took place within three months of each other in Elizabeth, NJ. I never knew about this piece of history, and I live in New Jersey! It was told through multiple characters, so it was a little hard to keep track of all the names. I would give it 3 1/2 stars.

Bev (confuzzledom) | 9 comments I read Telling Liddy by Anne Fine, who you may know as the author of Madame Doubtfire (later filmed as Mrs Doubtfire with the amazing Robin Williams). Anne Fine is a good writer, but personally I felt like there was something missing from this book. It was okay, but no more than that. It's a relatively quick read though.
