Posting this a bit early, as I will be a bit out of pocket while on vacation this coming week. If I don't update the list quickly, no worries, I will catch up when I get back!

This is weird to say, but here is the nominations thread for August. We aren't trying to coordinate with the monthly challenge (award winners), but by all means, if you want to nominate an award winner, you certainly can, but there is no "have to" on this one.

PLEASE REVIEW THESE GUIDELINES:
-Please do not nominate a book we've already read as a group. You will be asked for a different nomination if you do. Find our shelves here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books....
-Remember that a book must be out for 6 months or more to be eligible for nominations and voting
-Try not to nominate an author that we've read that year already
-If it is a book in a series that is not the first book, make sure you know that it can be read as a standalone and doesn't require the previous books being read to understand and enjoy.
-Please note that there may be more reasons that a book is not a good fit for nominations or group members as a whole, whether it be availability, cost, accessibility, etc. The moderators reserve the right to make these decision. Thank you for your understanding! :)
-Nominations will be open through the 15th of the month

Nominations as of June 12:
1. Dry as Rain by Gina Holmes
2. Tried and True by Mary Connealy
3. Together with You by Victoria Bylin
4. The Sentinels of Andersonville by Tracy Groot
5. Christy by Catherine Marshall
6. Be Still My Soul by Joanne Bischof
7. One Perfect Spring by Irene Hannon
8. A Texan's Promise by Shelley Gray
9. Lethal Action by Rachel Dylan
