So I read this book about 7 years ago in school. It was a necessary read in year 10. The cover of the book if I recall looks a foggy green colour(if that makes sense).
Anyway the story I remember is that there's some kind of nuclear bomb or something to that effect and this girl is trying to find other survivors. She's then trying to survive herself by finding supplies. And then I think one day she spots a man(after not seeing another human for ages). I think she was cautious at first and unsure of whether to trust him. Eventually they meet and it's POSSIBLE something happens where one of them breaks a bone, maybe a leg. I think it was the man and the girl looks after him.
That's mostly what I can remember, sorry if it's vague but I just remember it being such a good read and would love to know what book it is so I could reread.
