A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens

I remember reading it in high school, as well, Jacey. However, I remember disliking it, so I've been putting off the re-read! I keep telling myself to open my mind, but sometimes those teen memories do a number!
1. What is important about the title?
2. What are the conflicts in A Tale of Two Cities? What types of conflict (physical, moral, intellectual or emotional) are found in the novel?
3. Do you find the characters likeable? Are the characters people you would want to meet?
4. What is the central/primary purpose of the story? Is the purpose important or meaningful?
5. If you read A Tale of Two Cities before, in high school for example, has your opinion of the novel changed? If so, how?
