What was this book?-medieval

Hi Can anyone help me find this book? A medieval romance where the hero was hurt in battle and they sent for a woman to heal him that was thought to be a witch. Her mother had been mistreated/killed because of being a witch, can't remember. Sound familiar? Think it was part of a trilogy.

Claudia I am wondering if you ever found the name of the book. When I reread this it sounds like a Nora Roberts book maybe Dark Witch. Not sure as it has been awhile since I read it.
