Jack Lourens | 1 comments The book 1809; The year they freed the slaves is the story leading to the fictional freeing of the slaves, not surprisingly, in 1809. It has been proof read and should be good shape but what do I know. I wrote the book in American English and I am English English. The book is mainly about events in American history. I have researched the book thoroughly and I feel it as accurate as possible. As I mentioned I am English and have never studied American history in any detail. I think I know a lot more now. I also now live in the middle of Thailand so there are not many speakers of either types of English here. If anyone would like to read a give me an opinion, particularly on the historical accuracy please let me know.

The book is approximately 100,000 words packed with excitement. Thank you for your time. Jack
