Dkeye Very disappointed. This book is a complete insult to the intelligence of anyone who has actually tried to listen to the dissenters in the Truth movement. This book is extremely dismissive about legitimate concerns that educated and well read people have about 911. He makes straw man arguments about some of the truthers’ claims, and then he discredits them by lumping them into the same category as UFO conspiracies, believers in a subterranean reptilian race, and holocaust deniers. In essence, he says these people (though he admits that many of them are smart) are crazy, which has been the name calling, dismissive, mass media approach to most of the truther movement. This book does not offer any rebuttals and takes the same mass medial low road of not intelligently addressing the skeptics’ arguments.
Instead of speaking with doctors and medical professionals that give reasonable caveats about vaccines, he showcases Jenny McCarthy as the leading authority on vaccine paranoia. Taking pot shots at celebrities who distrust western medicine is neither good research nor good scholarship. This book is pop culture filth and does not help anyone with discovering truth. Ironically a quote he gives of one of these "nuts" sums up the brainless rubbish he peddles in the book; it says "most propaganda is not designed to fool the critical thinker but only to give moral cowards an excuse not to think at all".
I expected a more balanced analysis from a graduate of Yale Law. I was also hoping that he would share a more technical analysis of how the buildings fell, given his background in engineering and metallurgy. Instead, he journeys out of his fields of expertise to pseudo-psychoanalyze people (many are academics and architects) who are skeptical about the official 911 story, the insane war machine foreign policy, and anti Islam scaremongering it has created.

Ken Are you a 'truther'? That is, do you believe that the 9/11 attacks were perpetrated by people other than Islamist fanatics?

If you are not a truther, what are your "legitimate concerns" about 9/11?
