... (iiba) | 6 comments Do you know any YA novels set in the Philippines? It doesn't matter if that's contemporary or paranormal. I just want to look for YA novels set in this country. And if there's a YA novel which is set here and is written by a foreign author, the better.

Kayla De Leon (kayladeleon) There's one that Pinoy Book Tours will be touring early June: The Polaris Uprising by Jennifer Ibarra.

Yunick Cataytay (cyunick) | 1 comments Check out Jessica Hagedorn. She's half Pinoy and mostly sets her novel in the Philippines. Her latest novel is Dogeaters, which is a fictional story set in the time of Marcos' dictatorship(according to Amazon).
