Haven’t you wondered how orcs and goblins and other monsters see the world? Do they feel unfairly vilified? Jim C. Hines can help you walk a mile in their— scaly misshapen feet. Find out why the author of the Goblin Series finds book-cover poses personally painful and whether he’ll give you a fire spider.

Kris (kvolk) I like this guy just for doing the poses and pointing out how absurd they are.

Keidy | 525 comments Why have I never heard of this guy before?! I think his stance on the many woes of female characters is fantastic! I totally applaud him for that. I've never heard of his Princess series nor his Libriomancer series but they both sound incredible and I've put both book series on my wishlist. Once I finish some other books on my list, that's totally next! XD

P. Aaron Potter (paaronpotter) | 585 comments I really enjoy the bejeebers out of all Hines' stuff. And there is no bigger advocate for the fair treatment of *everyone* who wants in to the geek subculture. My nominee for President of Geeklandia.

I've had Libriomancer on audible for awhile from some sale or another. I need to move it up the list.

Tamahome | 6092 comments Nice observation about Charlie Brown and Jig the Goblin, Tom. James Lipton told me he is proud of you.

Andy (andy_m) | 311 comments My sole criticism is that he destroyed the MSU library in Libriomancer. I spent a lot of time there in grad school, I morn its passing.

Seriously, that is my sole criticism. Anyone who has magic wielding librarians as protagonists is my hero.

Thank you.

Tamahome | 6092 comments Kind of the video version of Jim C. Hines posing for female book covers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6UUA...

I sort of like the Twilight one.

Skye | 7 comments Those pose shots he did were genius. Thanks for reminding me to read his books!
